SAR 7/24 threaded barrel works for compact baby Desert Eagle
So made this post to share that the SAR 7/24 full sized barrel WILL NOT work on full size jerichos, I was crestfallen when i snagged one and it was too short, and the threads barley stuck out the slide. heartbroken
But rejoice, the full Size 7/24 threaded barrel WILL work with the compact slide/full size gripped Baby Desert Eagle i have.
However, when i went to confirm measurements and links, I found out SAR pulled the page for the 7/24 barrels....... So this wont help anyone unless/until they get the page back up.

I have THE OG 941r with H3 and KBI imports, aka Spikes gun (bottom left, i got about 15 years ago). Top left, was a jericho R9 i got cause i found an old 1 piece slide that was already milled for a red dot. around the same time i found a used baby desert eagle. and finally top right is the main attraction, the F ORP.

LOVE the ne F ORP
just have the trilug adaptor on there for photo op, waiting for the griffin camlok piston to arrive so i can try it suppressed.
But took it to the range and put 4-500 rounds through it.
HATE the extended mag release/catch bites into palm of my support hand every shot. Ordered an OG one in the mail.
Stole the dog leg from my 941 R9, but will be snagging another for both.
Still deciding on what optic. in the mean time im have a ton of fun just shooting irons. Stupid how accurate i can be with this gun if i do my part.
But love the gun minus the mag release. 10/10 recommend

Iver johnson M1 carbine for 500, fair snag?
Cabelas has an Iver Johnson M1 Carbine for 500. Really just want one to add to the collection/wallhang, but would like to get to get something that can function, otherwise id just snag a universal. its in great condition and barrel isnt shot out, so im leaning heavily towards the snag it before the ban kicks in.

Trilug on a pistol?
so rn only 9mm guns i supress are my mp5s and kuna. i dont ever shoot supressed centerfire pistol. But I have a spectre 9 on its way, and to my understanding certain guns (cz75, beretta 92) will cycle without needing a booster, if the can wieghs a certain amount or less. .
im lazy, and dont wanna have to change adaptors, but too cheap to buy a can speciafically for pistols to leave a booster adaptor in. Is it safe to pop a thread-on trilug muzzle device on a pistol and use trilug adaptor (thinking the resiliant ti one to keep weight low)?
In my mind only risk is damage to the can. i already have thread on trilug MDs, and i was gonna buy a resilant ti trilug anyways to maximize weight saveings on the super light spectre 9, so its not gonna cost me anything extra. Thoughts?

Nexus compatible magazine release
u/Sad-Championship485 , Im hoping you may have a definitive list you can drop here so others can reference it. I snagged a strike industries extended mag release paddle, but the geometry of the trigger guard is different from the scorpion so it didnt fit.
I guess i have manlet hands, cause i cant drop the mag with my trigger finger without having to reposition my hand. looking at the TONI systems, but are there any other paddle releases that may work better? currently running the duckbill.
And thanks for being on here and answering the same questions all day. Appreciate it!

Finally here!!!!
FINALLY HERE!!!! Ordered 4/17, deliver 5/23. Fit and finish was perfect, and just got mags to feed her. So happy, huge shout out to nexus, your a fucking legend!
Running the ASD 0/45/90° arcfire, CANNNOT WAIT TO TEST HER OUT!!!!
Prolly gonna run the eotech, but also digging the arms…. Any opinions?
All that’s left is the nexus sd kit and it will be complete, minus maybe a surefire light upgrade and holosun iris ir unit

Made a post the other day asking about getting some magpul evo mags (i have a nexus kuna lower on the way).
Couple yall were super helpful, even offering to go to their LGS and get mags to ship for me, so i wanted to pay it forward and let yall know mags are back instock on magpuls website.

like title says, looking to pick up a spare to keep stock for a trainer pistol, but best deal im seeing is gun and 2x21 2x15 mags for 530 after shipping.... any thoughts?
EDIT-Found one locally with 5 mags for 480 out the door. More then I wanted to pay but crosses it off my list on gunsto buy before ban day. Thanks for all your help!!
