What should I put in it?

(Honorary Mention: Nico, my apparent catfish) What should put in here? I’m pretty new to the hobby and only have a betta fish, three shrimp and a mystery snail. Those are my first btw. I think the tank might be a 15 or 20? My sister bought it when they caught a mouse at their house and her fiancé stupidly decided to keep it until it passed away🙁. So I got the tank. Should i upgrade my Placket Betta or something new? I was thinking maybe something that is in a group so my cats could watch them?

Edit: I found out it is approximately 18 gallons (17.964 gal) done by measuring tape🤷🏼‍♀️ it was 45 x 40 x 41 so google said about 68 Liters

Any tips?

So I have just started trying to muzzle train my Blue Heeler, Diesel. He’s only ever had muzzles on at the vet so he HATES them, I can’t even hold them in my hand without him getting scared. I have a Baskerville muzzle and one of those ones that they use when grooming or vets. But he is pretty aggressive/reactive anyway. So I wanted to train him just to have it on when we go out. Any tips? Or suggestions for muzzles that would be good? I really don’t want him to bite anybody.

Anyone else have this happen ALL THE TIME?

I’m always having this happen. If I get on my horse, sometimes (with any breed) it won’t connect the rains. If I get of then, back on it’s fine and works. Just annoying lol

I found a bat

This poor little guy or girl was found by my mom. I believe they hit our window maybe? He was struggling on their back, and eventually managed to climb a very little bit to squeeze in between the bricks. We waited for about 30ish minutes and they didn’t take off and seemed to be struggling. We called the Nebraska Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and they told up to place them into carrier with a paper towel, and a bottle of water cap with water till I can bring them up tomorrow. I hope they will be ok <3

Why can’t I get my betta to eat?

So I got my betta about 5 days ago, he’s my first one. He doesn’t eat when I put his pellets in the tank at all, he might glance at them but then turns away. And when they eventually sink, he will follow them to the bottom but then ignore them. I just pick up so Brine Shrimp so hopefully he eats that at least, but I can’t get him to eat his pellets

I have the brand of pellets in the picture.

Edit:
Other wise, he swims around happily and quite a bit, some times chasing the shrimp but never eats any of them (I only have 3 rn and all are present so not eating them)

Also he is a samurai betta if that matters.

Is this just him taking a long time to settle in or what? He doesn’t show any signs of sickness

Update: I’ve got him to eat frozen brine shrimp but that’s it

Any tips?

I got her a couple years ago and I just wanna know if there’s anything I should change about her enclosure? I’m looking to hopefully change substrates because I don’t like Aspen, so any tips for those would especially be helpful!

So I won’t disagree that this is 100 and 10% our own fault.

And I take full responsibility for that.

We got our blue heeler diesel not by choice. My sister got him when she was living with her boyfriend (now fiancé) Cody. They were living in the parents trailer, them paying rent. They had 3 dogs already(they live on a very hefty piece of land with a lot of room) but the parents said no more.

So we got him.

We live in a small town, about 2 hundred people. So no live stock.

Unfortunately when I was younger, I got him to look at dogs on the TV, got him to jump at them and bark because I thought it was funny.

Well now I pay for those actions :(

He jumps at ANYTHING on it. It’s gotten so bad there’s literally teeth marks in the tv. And it’s a pretty nice tv.

I really need help training this out of him. Please I beg of you guys, please help me.
