I just bought a used Ender 3 v3 KE which is amazing. It's my first foray into 3D printing and I am having fun so far.

I am also using OrcaSlice to slice the stl files.

I know that the KE does not support multi color filaments (without pausing), which is fine for now.

In Orcaslice I know I can implement multiple colors on a per layer basis with a pause in the gcode. This only works if my intention is for the entire layer to be the new color.

I saw a post here about a large 3D Lego head and having some purging issues with the black eyes.

My question is, is it possible to incorporate a different color for only a portion of the layer? Or is it too finicky and complex?

How to Help Partner with Narc Parents

My (41M) partner (38F) has at least 1 narc parent. Through a series of events and circumstances, my partner and I had to go from living together and building a future to living apart, having limited time together with no foreseeable change to this.

As a result of the circumstances, she had to move back into her parents house, and since then the guilt, anger and threats she has received regarding our relationship have intensified. Her mom is threatening to do anything any everything in her power to make it so that we cannot be together.

My partner is actively trying to get out into her own place, however every time she tries, her mom increases the threats. Her dad has also chimed in that if she continues a relationship with me, he will cut her out of his life forever.

As one can expect, she is put in a huge guilt ridden cycle.

For additional context, my partner has 2 kids (from a previous marriage) and part of the circumstances involves not being around them. Her mom is insistent that what we do on our private time (and my partner doesnt flaunt it with the kids) when kids are at their father's is hurting the children.

My partner knows the situation is toxic, but has the overwhelming sense of guilt, trauma loyalty and avoidance of conflict. I have suggested therapy, and my partner is not ready for it yet.

Any help would be amazing.

I was able to pick up some used alloy rims for free, which is fantastic. It was until I got home that I realized they are actually 15in rims. The tires presently on the rims are 205/60R15.

Would these safely fit on a '26 Niro HEV and be good enough (rims not tires) for winter? More worried about size than ability of the rims.
