pigs were dropping like flies last night!
rancher was having problem with pigs getting into their cattle silage. found em in the back in a creek bottom. no survivors!

Purchased my first 1280 optic. here in Texas it’s 98% humidity and it was still able to produce this clear of an image last night of this neighborhood deer. i’d say that’s pretty damn impressive
about 50 yards with the .260 rem. good eatin size too
spotted them from house and was able
to sneak up to around 30 yards with the wind in my face. it was quite the stalk.
We still managed to put down 5 pigs that had been tearing up the silage pile on this dairy farm. One happy farmer!
this was some really cool footage from the drone we used to flush hogs out of the tall corn onto a private road where we could get shots on them.
scope footage afterwards.
posted up on their road crossing spot (private fam road) and gave em hell. tough to get the pigs in the tall corn so you have to find where they’re accessing it
this was so cool. stalked up on these two groups in a big hayfield. they were in the wide open under a full moon. was hard to get much closer but we still knocked down quite a few!
stacked up 62 hogs last night. If you haven’t been thermal hunting, add it to your bucket list
ended up in austin for work tonight and if anyone has an extra i’ll pay for your ticket and mine!
never been and id love to go. just won’t be in town early enough for the stand by line
crazy how well you can hear bullet impacts on these pigs. they were around 45 yards from us. Wind was right in our face which make for a perfect spot & stalk
was able to knock down 6 but man it was hard finding em in this grass. Rancher was happy though!
