Looking for critique.

First time soldering after consuming loads of content online.

First time finally soldering after watching loads of videos online.

Looking for critique to get better.

Hi. I am based in India and updated my s24U yesterday to one ui 8.5.

Since the update, the phone shows 'phone is starting' without loading up the home screen.

I can wipe down to access the notification panel and then the settings.

Checking the settings shows no 'home app/ launcher'.

I've search for the 'one ui home' in apps, cleared the cache and data, to no avail.

I've tried running the recovery menu for clearing cache, but it only shows 3 options, reboot, power down and factory reset. Hence couldn't clear the cache from there.

I'm at my wit's end. Please help.
