From what I hear Fable 5.1 or Model 2 or Astra are available but the Ai labs aren’t releasing them. Is this the track we’re going down now? A handicapped version or not releasing it at all until something leaks?

If you’re an average Canadian it costs more for everything if you spend outside of Canada. What can Canada do to increase the value of its dollar against the USD, Swiss Franc, British Pound.
While yes businesses sell their products for cheaper the average Canadian pays more. Indirectly are we not subsidizing our products at the expense of Canadians?
Based on the paper it seems like we’re hitting milestones that happen in 2027 in 2026 and much of what’s in 2026 happened already.
Curious if anyone else feels that way or can challenge me on my belief? From a capability perspective in Ai 2027 to today it seems to match around April 2027 which points to early 2027 for AGI or late this year. ASI would likely happen early to mid next year.

Looking for a TV show or can be a movie that focuses on Ai Superintelligence, the singularity, advanced societies.
I’ve been finding many “futuristic sci-fi movies or tv shows” have a lot of old tech. Ex. The show can be portraying 2100 but is still driving gas vehicles or vehicles that don’t self drive or other strange quirks.
Looking for a tv show that goes deep like those 2 examples.
Ai 2027 Tracker updated with 85% accuracy mid-2026. One caveat though is the chart that showcases capability. Daniel’s curve is slower than the Ai 2027 scenario. Daniel’s curve predicts automated coder in June 2028 not January 2027 like the Ai 2027 paper.

I’m curious what’s your timeline for disruptive level ai, where the world actually changes. (Kinda like what happened during COVID).
Currently there’s still lots of people that deny AI is even really a thing, it’ll go away. When will governments get extremely involved (Covid style). Today our lives are more or less the same, we go to work, we drive the same cars, live in the same houses, we have the same routines, Ai we talk to here and there. I don’t think we’ll need super intelligence for this but I’m curious on what your timeline is, what the data says?
I’ve read AI 2027 paper and many say it’s next year and the writers were correct.
Curious what your timeline of job automation is going to play out? I was convinced that it’d be quick but not so much anymore because there are jobs today that could be automated but aren’t such as secretaries, bank tellers, etc. Something I just learned recently is that pumping your own gas is illegal in New Jersey. So we have a law preventing technology for the sake of jobs which I think is kinda insane.
Pantheon also takes place around now in terms of timeline. The only difference it’s about uploaded intelligence versus Ai. Going through an intelligence explosion.
I’ve lived here all my life and I don’t remember it being this hot or deal with wildfires. I feel it’s only been the last 10 years where the heat really ramped up and the forest fires started hitting London in the last 5
