Prescribed for bpd mood swings about 2/3 months ago. Currently on 100mg İR twice a day. I genuinely haven’t noticed anything. Not even side effects I was warned about. My sleep is still terrible (can never sleep till 5am then oversleep in the day), and my appetite has noticeably DECREASED. Not to mention I have engaged in risk taking behaviours still and been very impulsive at times. Feel like Im swallowing a tic tac every morning, I just can’t spot any effect

I have 2x tickets for aug 27th in block 401, looking to trade for any london date on or after august 20th in general admission or good lower bowl, willing to pay extra as well as trade. Also looking to buy outright and if I get will sell my aug 27th tix

Wonder if anyone else can relate. I’ve been taking quetiapine for about 6 weeks now noticing not much at all, not even drowsiness side effect that I was anticipating. My psych increased my dose to 100mg but no pharmacy had it in stock so she changed it back to 50mg but as IR instead of XR. When I tell you the drowsiness hit me like crazy!! About 45 mins after taking the first IR dose I was doing some repairing at had to stop because I was scared I was accidentally gonna hammer my finger lol! Then at work even 5 hours later I had to preface to my manager that I would probs be super slow and lazy seeming that day because of the meds.

I wonder if anyone relates to such a drastic change? I absolutely did not expect this, especially on the same dosage size!

does anyone else just feel absolutely nothing to the statement “this will pass” “it won’t be like this forever” etc. I know. I do believe you. It’s not an issue of not believing those statements to be true. But it feels utterly irrelevant when I’m currently in a depressive episode. Maybe this is my autism too, but if someone showed me a vision of the future where I am happy, relatively depression free, it genuinely would not change my outlook or improve my mood at all. RIGHT NOW i feel like absolute shit, who cares if that’s not going to be true even in a few days time? It’s not a few days time, the end to my misery hasn’t happened yet, so why would I care? How is it meant to make me feel better?

Newly diagnosed and my psychiatrist has prescribed me this, currently on 50mg but she said can increase to 100mg for mood stabilisation. She said anything past that would be more to treat psychosis. My friend with BPD is also prescribed it but on 400mg. I’m very confused as google also not telling me a straight answer
