Seamstress got my dress dirty and got some kind of blue marker on it

I seriously am so pissed. I just got my dress back after 4 weeks of it being in the seamstress’ possession. She used to be Amish and I thought she would be responsible and dependable enough with my dress. WRONG. Some kind of blue marker down the side of it where the seam is, and brown spots almost resembling fingerprints under the arms where she took it in on both sides. There’s also blue marker under the train which will be visible when I’m carrying it the wrist loop.
On top of that, it smells like an old persons house. Not a good smell. It smells awful and I should’ve thought of that immediately when deciding to let a seamstress work on my dress out of her home.
She was also supposed to let it out after taking it in too much, because at my last fitting it was too tight. I have not gained any weight. I don’t know how to tell if she let some of it back out or not. But it sure does not feel like she let anything back out. Unfortunately, I have already paid her before noticing the smell or the flaws on my dress.
I’m FREAKING out not knowing how to get rid of the smell, since the garment bag also smells bad.
I live with my fiance and there’s really no where I can put the dress that will allow it to air out some of the scent, where he won’t see it. Wedding is in 3 days

Just found out I’m pregnant and my wedding is a week away 😭

I already have 2 under 2. My oldest is turning 2 at the end of this month. And my youngest is 9 months old.
I was dumb and selfish. And by dumb I literally mean uneducated af.
I thought ovulation occurs the same number of days after period ends, every cycle. Give or take 1-2 days fluctuation. I always rely on my cycle tracker and since having my second (and final) chikd, i have unprotected sex according to when my calendar shows I’m NOT in my fertile window.
I just landed a full time job and got daycare lined up for my kids. But my new job will literally not let me take any time off even if I just have to step out for a doctor appointment. They are so unrealistic about their attendance policies that I’m not even sure if it’s worth keeping the job anyways. We were going to start house shopping because we need more bedrooms for the kids we already have. Forget that because I don’t know how I’m going to work to afford that. My new employer has no idea I’m pregnant and I’m sure they won’t be thrilled about the news.
Oh yeah, did I mention my wedding is a week away? So now I’m emotional about not getting to have fun, enjoy the special day, and manage to keep it a secret when everyone sees I’m not drinking alcohol?
And to put an even bigger damper on things, my stepdaughter, (who doesn’t know I’m pregnant) told my fiance and I that we better not ever have more kids. I don’t even know why this got brought up.
Our kids have absolutely NO bearing on her life or her relationship with her dad. She is never asked to help the kids, or babysit. She has to share her dad with them and he has enough love in his heart for all of them. So I’m not sure what her issue is but I’m very hurt to have heard her say that. Especially being pregnant, my emotions about her words are more intense than usual.

FIL making an issue out of wedding attire

My fiance and I are getting married soon and his dad has been made aware plenty of times what the expectations are for wedding attire.
His family’s idea of “formal” dress code is jeans, boots, and a button up shirt. I really don’t get it and don’t relate to it at all, but I won’t shame or judge them for it. My family is the complete opposite and we dress to the nines for everything.
So we differ, a lot, in that respect.
His dad has asked me at least 5 times now, what he has to wear. I recently have started responding with a long pause and stare, waiting for him to tell me he’s joking.
But he is dead serious. Almost like he’s waiting for my answer to change, hoping I’ll finally tell him he can wear jeans.
I tel him everytime, NO jeans. DRESS pants DRESS shoes, and any one of his nice collared shirts is the only thing that’s acceptable. It is a semi formal wedding, but I have to stress that it’s formal so that he can understand the ‘no jeans’ rule.
He is not poor. Money is not an issue at all. The thing I don’t understand is he is such a perfectionist in all regards. House, yard, garage, cars, are always pristine. Holds his kids and grandkids to insanely high standards. Used to be in the military. But thinks it’s appropriate and reasonable to wear jeans to a wedding?! To me that comes across tacky and lazy. Not what I’d expect from someone who is a perfectionist.
I’m not sure how to respond to him anymore. Everytime I’ve reminded him no jeans, he gets more snarky with me.
I’m just struggling to understand what his hang up with jeans is.

Toddler wants to kiss everyone

It’s sweet that she is so affectionate but not when it’s at the point of trying to kiss random people. She will be starting daycare soon and I’m wondering how to put the kibosh on this without making her think she can’t kiss mom and dad. I feel like she will get confused and think that she can’t kiss us. A few months ago she tried kissing her physical therapist, and more recently tried kissing a 1 year old boy when we went to the Children’s Museum. The mom of that little boy was not happy about it, so I was pretty embarrassed but I used it as an opportunity to tell her to blow a kiss, instead. I’m just not sure how capable she is of understanding this concept right now, and what the best approach is here. I definitely don’t want her trying to kiss other kids at daycare or her doctors, or random people for that matter.

Is a 7mo old supposed to be this difficult?

I am a SAHM with a 21 month old and a 7 month old and oh my heavens, the past month has been the hardest yet. Never would I have imagined 7 months would be harder than the newborn stage.
Can anyone else say the same?
Here’s what’s going on: Ever since about 6 months old(maybe slightly earlier) my infant will NOT let me so much as turn my face away from her without her screaming bloody murder. I cannot do anything without her screaming at the top of her lungs and I’ve tried just about every approach to setting her down and carefully walking away. But as soon as I pick her up she’s fine. She hates her swing, saucer, stroller, and car seat. She used to love the saucer and would jump and laugh in it. Having a 21 month old who also needs my attention is making this impossible. Her crying has also recently began making my toddler cry, which was never an issue before.
My toddler was never like this at that age. Around 9 months old she got a little fussy whenever I would leave the room but it never turned into crying. I know every baby is different, but I did not expect this!!

Do my stepkids secretly not like me?

This is the 3rd year of being a stepmother and 1st year of being a mother to 2 babies, who are half siblings to my stepkids. Maybe I’m just bitter because I grew up with an epitome of an evil stepmom and ,I still always said it to her because I feel like that’s the respectful thing to do. I say happy Mother’s Day to anyone in my life who is a mother. Friends, aunts, cousins, etc. Getting a gift is a totally different thing. Saying “happy Mother’s Day” is simple and respectful. I’ve never really felt any animosity from my stepkids other than that they’ve never said happy Mother’s Day to me when we’ve always (or so I thought) been very fond of each other. They are 16. 17, and 19 yrs old. I guess the fact that I’m not just their stepmother but I’m the mother of 2 of their siblings is really what gets to me. Also, a lot of our money comes from what I’ve inherited from my family. I feel I’ve played a significant role in supporting them financially and probably will be for years to come.
My husband spoils me for Mother’s Day. So at least I have his acknowledgment. But I’m mostly just wondering if this could be a sign that they don’t like me.
