How are you doing during these job hunting times? I personally am feeling disheartened and a bit jealous but also grateful for other things. How are you?
Just got one of everything from the Harry Potter collab from my local Tim's. Thanks for "quenching" my Potterhead self!
I'm sick of them having no manners. You're a job, not a situationship, why are we ghosting and wasting my time and leading me on.
Anyone also have the urge to spam a million 1 star reviews filled with curses to places that did you dirty in the hiring process? I don't mean they rejected me, they're just doing their job for that, I mean Ghosted after an interview, canceled 20 minutes before an interview, made you do an online interview though an AI chatbot first that auto rejects you. Is it just me and the rest of you guys are stable? Or does anyone ever feel like doing this too. (I would never do this btw, don't come at me Im trying to lighten some moods)
I will run away and move to the jungle. If anyone can relate to this, feel free to join me and we can build a civilization in the wild.
Just curious as this pops up in my email from indeed. Does it work? Does it actually help your chances and make you stand out? I'm applying for part time no experience jobs (tryna get my first) btw if that's relevant
This was THIRTY minutes before my interview they scheduled YESTERDAY. I was all ready and was at my door to see this. I didn't even apply for this position, they offered it to me. Back to square one ig.
I (15f), am starting junior year next month. I am doing early admission so in around a year and a bit from now, I will be applying to universities. What major should I take? I want to be a doctor. Looking for advice. I live in Canada if that's relevant, staying in Canada too. I am having difficulty choosing between these two majors, but if anyone has any other options, please let me know.
BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES
Pro: covers nearly everything for the MCAT
Pro #2: very broad and general if I change my mind for careers
Con: What job to get from that?
Con #2: no hospital practicum hours
NURSING
Pro: if I don't get into med school the first try, I can almost instantly become an RN which is a stable, in-demand job
Pro #2: I will get practical hospital working hours which med schools love
Con: covers nearly nothing from the MCAT
Let me know!
Just curious :)
I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT. If I see a job that you have to apply through my workday, most od the times I just won't apply unless I really want it because I WILL GO INSANE I'd I have to retype everything from my resume into those boxes again 😤😡
I feel Netflix only keep recommending me the same few movies. I like any movie genre, specifically sad or rom coms, but I don't like action. Like there can be action, but it can't be just action yk? Oh also I'm in Canada if that changes any available movies. Lmk!
