IU Germany

**Is anyone here studying at IU International University of Applied Sciences in Germany and doing an online Bachelor’s degree? I’ve seen a lot of really bad reviews on Google, so I’m curious what it’s actually like and would love to hear some real experiences from current students.**

EASA B2 self-study route without Part-147 – is it realistic?

Hi! If I self-study the EASA B2 modules and pass the exams at an approved centre, how likely am I to find a trainee position to gain the required experience?
I have no previous technical/aviation qualifications and can’t afford Part-147 school. I’m an EU citizen and willing to relocate anywhere in the EU.
Is this route worth starting, and how much could I earn during the practical experience? Has anyone here done B2 this way or been in a similar situation?
I’m also considering working as cabin crew for 1–2 years while studying the modules, then moving into B2/aircraft maintenance. How realistic would that plan be?

What could I study as a woman (25) in aviation that doesn’t require a university degree but could lead to a well-paid career?

What bachelor’s degrees can I study in English (B2 level) that are hybrid or part-time/online, don’t place too much emphasis on high school grades, are affordable or free for EU students, and lead to good career opportunities?

I’d really appreciate any recommendations. I’ve always wanted to go to university, but I’ve had to work full-time for financial reasons, so attending a traditional full-time program has never been an option for me.

Advice on starting an EASA Part-66 B2 licence

Is it worth starting the EASA Part-66 B2 Avionics Technician licence at 25 as a woman? My plan is to study from home, pass the modules, and then complete the required 5 years of practical experience if I get hired somewhere. I’m flexible about relocating. I’d really appreciate any experiences, advice, or information. Thank you!

EASA Part-66, Part-147, B2 Licence

I would really like to earn my EASA Part-66 B2 licence through a Part-147 approved training organisation. However, I have to work full-time to support myself, so I can’t attend full-time classroom training.
What options do I have in this situation? Is there any way to remain eligible for the reduced 2-year maintenance experience requirement while working full-time?
If anyone has experience with this or understands the EASA Part-66/Part-147 system well, I would really appreciate your advice. Thank you!
