I feel like slow burn stories that feel more like dialogues CAN be done in experimental series, and most of the time that happens to be in horror. Not that NSO is anywhere close to Kon's work, but I like that it's got more old school psych horror anime vibes.
Low quality screenshots are only funny if there's an inkling of reality to them. Its funny to think someone genuinely ripped open a random box of cans. Obviously the can logo had to be Photoshopped, but that would still imply an original genuine screenshot came before it. An entirely ai generated pic just kills the vibe. This is right next to hyper detailed anime art which is just so hard to find naturally anymore if you don't follow Japanese Twitter artists, and i don't use Twitter anymore.
I think manga P-chan was very sweet, completely understand why he isn't in the anime, but Noa's character was very interesting and so was Ame's jealousy of her. I loved that Noa genuinely thought Ame was her friend, and Ame could've taken advantage of that for collabs but let her envy get in the way. I can see parts of her in Kache though. If she was at least referenced in one episode I'd be so happy.

Only show where the official art treats itself tiers lower than it should be. Rewatched it a decade later and yea it kinda wasn't all that but im glad I didn't see this side of the show at that age, only now
I don't even remember what the first villainess manga or manwha was, all i know is villainesses were barely a thing in most otome before this trend came along

If it isnt "safe" horny vtuber humor its straight up racist vtuber clips or loli "cute and funny"/borderline csam bs. I don't know why a space like vtubing has so much right wing content or why YouTube's been trying to funnel me down that rabbit hole since I was 17, but nothing with anime girls can ever be normal it seems. I imagine jp idol culture is basically the same and im just being exposed to it for the first time as it carries over to American spaces.
At least with Pikachu it makes sense biologically. But what could Tortoise possibly be going through to create that to vent.
