Are there former teachers in here that quit and decided to homeschool their kids?

What was it about the public school system that made you quit and homeschool your own kids? Don’t leave out any details.

From the first eye open, what’s your day loook like for the next hour? Do you doom scroll? Get right out of bed the second you awake? What’s that first hour look like? Is it productive?

Your husband says “take my card and go enjoy the day”…….

Where are you going, what are you doing and why that place or those places? Are you driving out of town, or just having a local day? What are you buying if you’re spending $$?

I need ideas.

I can’t make it past day one.

I keep trying to quit but I end up failing. I’ve went from carts to flower just so I can slow down and it’s helped because I can’t just hit my joint anywhere. But I find myself still smoking.

I get irritable, nauseous, a headache and then I’m up all night and I just say f it.

I’m starting my sober journey again today. Any tips or tricks or advice is needed. I desperately want to be clean.

In only a few words/sentences, best explain your version of depression.

I’m emotionally flat. I have moments of shine but most days are just gray.

I like to think no depression is the same, the only thing in common really is that we have the diagnosis and are all struggling in one way or another.

Having these thoughts I wonder what others experience when their depression is at a peak.

HOW DO YOU SAVE MONEY AS A STAY AT HOME PARENT? What’s your secrets? What do you ‘swear by?’

I’m not someone who coupons, budgets, or really pays mind to what things cost. We are not made of money but we do not struggle.

Recently I have been lightly dabbling in paying attention to sales and not getting what I normally would. For example, usually I’d buy Classico spaghetti sauce for I don’t know, $5-$6 give or take but lately I’ve been exploring others brands for $2-$3 and with MORE sauce.

That’s just an example but now I’m like what else could I be doing? Where do I find coupons, digitally or paper.

Do you feel it’s worth it? I also do not want to overly hoard food and house supplies but I do want to save.

Also what do you DIY that saves $$?

I feel like there may be a ton of savings and
I’m making it my new mission to see how much I can save monthly.

I saw myself

I saw myself from another body’s pov. I didn’t see my face and I don’t have many other details other than I saw my self.. I was talking to myself about my tattoos.. complimenting myself and saying how I loved the work done, from another humans perspective.

Curiosity got me and now I’m wondering what this means and if it’s happened to others?
