I am in favor of money for parks but I'm not convinced that the City of Austin has figured out how to stretch existing budget dollars in the same way many Austinites do with the endless upward rise in inflation. I'll be voting no.

This is a shot in the dark -- while cleaning out my wife's parents house we found this beaded artwork that according to family legend allegedly was made in 1907 by Iroquois tribe members.
We have no idea if that is indeed true -- is it that old or if the Iroquois were the tribe whose members likely made it. We'd love to know more about its history. For all we know, it could have been made in a factory and for all intrinsic purposes worthless.
If there is a Native American museum that would be interested in it, we'd happily ship it to them as our gift. Just need to know where to send it (we would only do that if it goes to a museum directed, and hopefully owned by native Americans).
What's the difference? Assuming both are the same cut (ground chuck, 20% fat), how are they different? Is the one in the traditional package ground in the store (or is it just packaged in the store)?
The two pound tube is somewhat less than an equivalent amount in a traditional package (the two pound tube in my store is $1 cheaper per pound than the traditional package even if the traditional package has two or more pounds in it)?
I've always had a bias against the tube because you can't see the contents but that's probably silly and with these beef prices (Iran war surcharge) saving a dollar a pound is compelling.

I want to provide my guests with YouTubeTV but lock the profile so they can't make any changes to that service. I also want to allow them to stream other services using their own credentials.
Roku has guest mode but you can't enable a service (it essentially is fully reset with each new guest).
The TVs to which the streamers would be connected are all HDMI cabled and connected.

EIDT TYPO: is there a way to scan a library for ID corrupted files?
My local library is mostly lossless FLAC files. I'm trouble shooting why some local files won't play in Roon. Is there a way to scan an entire library and identify which files may be corrupted?
Qualifier -- if I delete the files from my Roon database and then rescan Roon sees these files, reads the metadata and will add them, but won't play them (so I assume something is wrong in the track). Trying to ID a list of these files so I can replace them from good backups.
She came to us with terrible storm/firework anxiety which we could never relieve so we learned to ride it out together. In exchange, she loved us fiercely. My dryer (deets below) was making a noise. I thought it was related to the drum spinning so I replaced the five drum rollers, the drive belt, and the drive belt tensioner (clutch). Reassembled everything. Ran and all was quiet. Ran it a 2nd time and the noise is back. Any idea what it is?
I looked online at YouTube and maybe it's the blower fan assembly? What say you expert dryer doctors?

Had this happen to me at a restaurant in Austin. I'm a tech exec and was having dinner with another tech exec. We wrapped dinner and were waiting on the bill and had our credit cards on the table (good sign we are ready to go). We were wanting a 50/50 split. Server drops for the first time on the table an online checkout QR code and says "I can run your cards for you, but we charge a service fee or you can check out on your phones yourselves with no extra service fee". I thought the message was delivered in a slightly passive aggressive way (but maybe I was reading). Is this a common practice now?
I'm fine with self check out options but IMHO they should be presented early and always be an option not a mandatory way to avoid a 3% additional fee.
TLDR:
I've never encountered a restaurant charging an additional 3% service fee to run your credit cards for you (versus pay at the table). Is this common now?
With the truck running, when I unplug the Air Flow Sensor the truck continues to run but runs rougher. I've read some sources that say if you unplug the Air Flow sensor the truck should turn off (and if it doesn't that's an indicator that the sensor is bad). Other sources say if the truck continues to run but runs rougher (like mine is doing), it is a sign the air flow sensor IS WORKING.
Which is correct?
I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue where the truck seems to lose power at speed and an intermittent check engine light appears. My first check was to validate the proper operation of the air flow sensor. If anyone has suggestions on what else to check I'm all ears. Thanks!
