When did Dame stop yammin on people?

Damian Lillard is his for like 3-5 season or so used to dunk on people a lot more than some may realize. And they were pretty nasty dunks. I mean dude was in the dunk contest 2014 I believe. Then all of a sudden he just didn’t dunk like that anymore and became one of the greatest shooters of all time.

When and why did that happen? I don’t recall him having a major injury around that time that zapped his athleticism. His Achilles tear was recent. It’s always intriguing to me when I see highlights of young Dame and he’s just yammin on people because I sometimes forget how athletic he was. And he’s widely known for his shooting so I bet a lot of young fans who didn’t watch him back then don’t even know he used to get up like that.

Imagine if Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard were on the 2012 USA Olympic team

Those 2 weren’t on the team due to injury that year and I believe if they were on the team, it would’ve been the greatest team of all time. They already rival the dream team without them. But look at this roster with them. I’d imagine they’d replace Deron Williams and Andre Iguadala/James Harden.

PG - Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook
SG - Kobe Bryant, Harden/Iguodala
SF - LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony
PF - Kevin Love, Anthony Davis (rookie)
C - Dwight Howard, Tyson Chandler

Shit not to mention Wade, Bosh, Griffin, and Aldridge.

Iggy, Williams, and Harden (at the time) just weren’t as good as those who were injured so that team could’ve been absolutely LOADED. Damn near that entire roster has everyone in/kinda still in their prime. Insane

I don’t think it took AKME 3-4 years to give up on Pat being the next Kawhi. I think it took at least 5

So I’m sure most of you have seen the report that said it took AKME 3-4 years to give up on the idea that Patrick Williams could be the next Kawhi. But Pat was drafted in 2020. He was then given an extension, he didn’t sign a new contract, he was EXTENDED on June 30th 2024 which is before free agency btw. Contract was 90mil over FIVE years. Not 4… 5!

That’s 4 years already until he got extended so quick the FO didn’t even give him the chance to look at other teams or gauge how cheap his marker could be. That means they WANTED him for that contract. Now 5 year contracts are pretty rare tbh, so giving that to a young player, that means they wanted him around for as long as possible. Meaning they probably were going to be as patient as they could be with him to see if he could be the next Kawhi. Not to mention the amount of money is much more than they gave Coby, and they didn’t even wanna resign Ayo so they traded him, who both showed way more potential.

So the 3-4 years don’t add up. If they gave up on that Kawhi idea in 3 years they wouldn’t have given him that contract. 4 years same thing, because he got that contact at his 4th year with the team and again that contract I’m pretty sure maxed out on the amount of years you can give someone.

So I think AKME still truly believed in Pat at least 5 years and I mean they were let go in their 6th year lol so I wonder if they ever truly gave up on him tbh. If so it would’ve been last season. I just don’t understand the hard on they had for that guy man.

The men tribe in season 6 are insufferable

I’m only one episode in on season 6 and holy shit these dudes are insufferable on how they view/talk about the women and how highly they view themselves. It legit felt like I was watching a bunch of 14 year old boys hitting puberty for the first time playing boys vs girls soccer at gym class lol. And then at tribal council they spend almost half the time just talking about who they think is hot from the women tribe…. Like bruh wtf am I watching lol

I’m a guy and I’m no feminist or nothing like that but hearing other guys talk so poorly about women and highly about themselves simply because of their gender is pathetic ngl. I only watched this season because I wanted to see what made Rob an all star since they talked pretty highly of him that season but he’s annoying af too so far lol.

What do you think Lights final thoughts were when…

When he was lying on the staircase during the end credit scene after Ryuk wrote his name, he felt he was going to die. But he was awake for a little bit before he closed his eyes. During that and the whole scene prior he’s visibly sad. What do u think was going through his mind before his eyes closed for good? As well as what was he thinking when he was running away during the flashback

Is there a way I can add 4 extra measures in the beginning of the song? That way I don’t have to move literally everything over. So basically where I have the song starting at measure 2, it would start at measure 6

The fact that Nike has all these signature shoes and not one high top is insane. Closest is the KDs which are kinda mid top

Who are your under the radar, veteran/role player free agents you wanna go after?

I really want Landry Shamet. I’d glad pay like
10mil or so for a solid 3 and D shooting guard who’s been in the league for a while and just won a chip. It’s possible the Knicks won’t be able to resign him too since they’re gonna have to pay Robinson first. Shamet was on a minimum this past season. His post season performance earned him a bag I’d gladly give him given how much money we have.

OG Anunoby is what Patrick Williams was supposed to be

OG is literally a baby Kawhi. Down to a tee. Pat was compared to Kawhi ever since he got drafted all the way to the point he was gifted the nickname The Paw as in a smaller version of Kawhis nickname The Klaw. People still use that nickname to this day. OG is the actual Paw. Fuck Pat and stop calling him that lol

Stacey King was the one constant we had and his death to me truly signifies a new era for the Bulls 😔

With Stacey’s passing I was trying to think as to why I and we all are going to miss him so much other then the obvious reasons of how great of a commentator he is, how funny he is, and how amazing of a person he seemed to be. Like I didn’t expect to tear up over an announcer’s passing. And I realized that for me and all the other fans who became Bulls fans during the Rose era, is that he’s been the one constant through it all. (I’m not counting the Reinsdorfs)

I’ve been a Rose fan since 2011 and a Bulls fan since 2013, and I literally do not know what’s it’s like to be a Bulls fan without Stacey being our announcer. Out of all the bullshit we’ve gone through he’s basically been our rock. No matter what the team looks like, what management is doing, who’s injured, if we’re winning or not, Stacey MOTHERFUCKING King kept us entertained and made it enjoyable. He was someone we could always count on to do a great job no matter the circumstance.

All the changes in players and everything, he stayed. It’s like too since I miss the Rose era so much and how amazing that era was, he was the last remanence of it. Again I’m not counting Jerry because his presence is barely ever felt anyway. The OG duo of Stacey and Neil Funk ended after the Rose era and turned to Adam and Stacey and it was still great but Stacey again remained. We lost Derricks MVP moments, Jimmys toughness, Joakims energy, Luol’s steadiness, Taj/Kirk and the bench mob, Thibs screaming on the sideline, then Lavines dunks, Lonzo’s IQ, Demars clutch shots, Carusos defense, Ayos growth, and whatever the fuck was in between those two eras lol but we never lost Stacey’s calls.

So idk to me this really feels like the Bulls I grew up watching are officially done and over with and now it’s time for a legit completely new era of Bulls basketball. And I’m sure yall who were around for the Jordan days feel the same too because Stacey was even around then! Like I said he was our rock. Idk what it’s gonna be like now. It’s all different. But all that to say, Rest In Piece Stacey!
