Our classy Queen keeping it consistent once again 🥰
Lowkey if you’re going to photoshop two vapes out of a photo that you’re posting to social media, at least let boyfie know to do the same.
In the past Sam has stressed to people that she doesn’t vape and was dragging people who do so, clearly another attempt at making herself look better than everyone 💖

Mr Winston manufacturing/alternatives

Hi everyone. Bit of a random one, I really love the way the mr Winston ‘college’ crew neck jumpers fit as well as their overall feel.
Apart from being relatively expensive, I don’t exactly want to be plastered with the same brand all the time - as silly as that may sound.
The composition is 75% cotton 25% polyester. Quite heavy and plush. Have added some photos for reference.

Essentially I am just wondering if anyone knows where Mr Winston manufactures their jumpers or where I can find very similar jumpers? I’ve looked into Gildan but am struggling to find any images that truly depict what they look like.
Any help would be appreciated!

Makeup that works well with Rhode skincare products

Hi everyone!
Does anyone have any foundation/skin tint recommendations that work well with rhode skincare products?

A lot of foundations/skin tints separate or don’t stay on my skin when I use rhode products, even if I only use one product underneath. I assume this is because I am not using the correct type of foundation (e.g water based etc).

Rhode (specifically glazing milk, peptide glazing fluid and sometimes BRC) has been absolutely amazing for my very fussy skin that is very prone to dehydration so I don’t really want to give it up, particularly since it helps with hydration/prevents makeup from looking gross and dry on my skin.

TIA!

Medication breaks

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anybody has ever had issues with hitting a tolerance with Vyvanse and found that a break has helped?

I was prescribed Vyvanse a few years ago and have worked my way up to 60mg. I also take dex as a top up.
It was prescribed to me for ADHD and binge eating.

My doctor recommends taking breaks but I really struggle to do so for personal reasons (med student, binge eating etc).

Initially, I had great outcomes with Vyvanse including reduced binge eating episodes. Now I feel like I get a short amount of time (effectiveness) from Vyvanse and my binge eating has returned.

Will taking a break help me with this?

TIA

Affordable alternatives

Hi everyone! Does anybody have any recommendations for a more affordable or better quality alternative to these heeled black boots from betts?
I’m aware of the Tony bianco ones but I’m not sold.

I love the square toe and the stitching on either side of the foot. I don’t mind if the boot has the elastic detail on the ankle/sides either. I am just mainly focused on the square toe and stitching.

TIA!!

Edit** I meant more affordable for non leather boots - I’m happy to pay a decent price for actual leather. I can’t justify the cost for something that’s of less quality. Personally I’ve spent a similar amount on similar types and they haven’t lasted very long.
They’re gorgeous and I’m tempted but am just unsure of the longevity 😊

Clonidine/sleep advice

Hi everyone, does anyone here take 100mcg clonidine for sleep?
I have always struggled with insomnia and poor sleep quality.
I was prescribed 100mcg before bed to assist with my sleep issues. I feel like I am constantly groggy the next day - even with Vyvanse. I also feel as though I wake up several times during the night.

Does anyone have any positive experiences or any tips to help me negate all the negative effects?
Any sleep tips would also be appreciated.

My lack of sleep (even without ADHD medication) is ruining my life and I cannot cope anymore.

Product recs and advice on daily washing and drying without damage

Hi everyone! Looking for some product recommendations for the below hair type, as well as advice on how to wash and dry hair daily without damage.

I am really struggling to find products that help with my oily hair that won’t dry out my ends. But also struggling to find products that protect my colour, hydrate and protect my hair from damage without leaving my hair greasy or weighing it down.

I have fine hair but a lot of it (dense) that is prone to breakage and split ends. I am a natural level 7-8 blonde but I have bleached/highlights throughout. My hair is incredibly oily literally within hours. My hair is prone to issues with buildup.

I’m at the point where I have accepted I need to wash my hair daily but am worried about damage from heat as well as damage from shampoos that might be too stripping.

Pretty certain I have hard water issues and have been using the Loreal metal detox once a week, but this feels pretty heavy on my hair and leaves it feeling really heavy and greasy.

TLDR; product recommendations for oily scalp with dry ends, coloured hair, heat protectant and leave in products that won’t weigh hair down, advice to prevent damage from drying and washing daily

Books for learning about music

Hi everyone,
Possibly a random one. Sorry in advance for the potential lack of terminology - don’t judge !!!

I come from a very music and instrument loving family.
My dad is a great guitarist and knows a lot about music, instruments, etc overall.

Unfortunately I didn’t inherit the musically gifted gene, but I do have a love for music overall. I tried to learn an instrument when I was younger but was going through some personal traumas and couldn’t latch onto the skills, so would love to learn without learning (if that makes sense!)

I was wondering if anyone had any book recommendations that might help me learn more about music, instruments, history of music (e.g. influence of Beatles on music today etc etc), sound production, how music is produced - pretty much anything, even down to the basics.
I was really interested in the ‘Get Back’ series and also received Anthology 4 on vinyl for Christmas 2025. Big Oasis fan and was intrigued to learn how their albums, specifically morning glory had lots of compression, brick walling and layering to produce the sounds that are.
Recently took a trip to the UK from Australia and did lots of music-esque stuff (e.g. Jimi Hendrix house) so have been further intrigued.

My dad has a HUGE collection of guitars and I would love to learn more about the types of guitars and the different sounds they make and how they do so.

Of course I could ask someone in my household these things but I love to read and would prefer to learn these things at my own pace and in more depth. I’m a medical student and would love a change of scenery in regards to ‘learning’.

*EDIT: I’m not after material to help me learn an instrument. I’m after theory more so. And as I mentioned I went through some pretty traumatic events, hence why I couldn’t find the time to learn an instrument. I’m quite versed on music history and music in general but am wanting to further my knowledge.
