Part time/Hourly recruiter jobs

I’ve been trying to get my own firm back off the ground moving away from contingent towards retained but am in a tight spot with money so I’ve been applying to way too many hourly part time jobs advertised online. Those rarely even send rejection notices out, and I’ve been more than qualified for the bulk I’ve applied for. Is there a good method for securing part time hourly work in the search field? I had good luck running a list of boutique firms a while back and reaching out to leadership/owners about potential employment options but now I’m shifting away from the idea of joining a firm full time and need to see what I can identify for some part time work to get money coming in. Open to any ideas that have worked for others, I need to secure about $4k per month for bills/life to buy myself enough time to give my startup a real chance to grow.

Providing hourly support to exec search firms

I was impacted by a reduction in force a year ago at one of the SHREK firms and have since started my own firm. I went the contingent route and have been burned by my only client so now I am reworking everything to start over in a retained/contained business model with some of the lessons learned. While I ramp up and actually learn how to sell retained search work (trial by fire, because why not) I do need to create some type of income ASAP. I have started outreach to boutique firms to market my services as basically augmenting the work they do; market mapping, candidate outreach, pipeline building, etc, done either on an hourly rate or a project basis.

I have absolutely no experience with selling my services in this manner or what to technically classify or refer to it as. While I am fumbling my way through this, I would welcome any input or guidance from people who've done something like this before! Thinking $70/hr if I utilize a clients resources, or something higher if I am expected to support the work with LinkedIn Recruiter for example on my end. Maybe a project fee of like $2k for building a pipeline of X number candidates. Just spit balling ideas here, I need some real-world input from those who've done this type of work for exec search firms acting as support to their existing teams. If it helps I have almost 20 yrs experience in search, almost a decade of that was with a major retained exec search firm, and my 'specialty' areas are academic medicine/healthcare/life sciences. Sincerely appreciate any guidance here!

Is HRT working? Bloodwork

Wife is 42 and experiencing peri. All the usual symptoms. Obgyn put her on HRT, she takes progesterone and just bumped up to a 1mg estradiol patch from the .75mg she was at. I don’t know about women’s hormones and she’s not super involved in trying to understand her bloodwork, so I wanted to ask for feedback about how it looks. I included her November 2025 pre HRT bloodwork and the March 2026 booodwork. It doesn’t look much different before and after HRT honestly. I’ve been seeing stuff about how adding low dose testosterone in can help with symptoms and is also a hormone that declines in women and can help if supplemented. Open to the groups feedback. She’s got PCOS, is on Reta for the last month after spending two years on tirzepeptide, and is trying lose another 60-70lbs. She’s lost 35lbs already in the last year and is working out a couple times a week and following a meal plan her dietician gave her, sleep is good and she’s much less angry/impatient with me and our kids now that she started HRT so things are progressing I’m just curious about if her bloodwork shows noticeable improvement from the treatment or if it needs to be tweaked at all. Thanks!

PC looked past everything to criticize test levels

My primary has been pushing me for a half decade to get on statins to help ’fix’ my cholesterol. I’m 43, had high cholesterol high glucose everything was indicative of poor health. Almost 3 yrs ago started lifting and stopped drinking, lost 45lbs, started TRT 4 months ago, Reta 3 months ago. She wouldn’t prescribe TRT so I used an online clinic and self manage but my primary does bloodwork anytime I ask for it. Now she’s looking past the best cholesterol and glucose and overall bloodwork I’ve had in my adult life just to say my testosterone of 1018 is too high. Radio silence about the continued progress on my health and fitness journey and real results lol. I hit a new low weight of 199lbs yesterday for the first time since college (20 YEARS IVE BEEN 230-255lbs). I’m continuing to push downwards to 190lbs goal weight and the best health of my adult life. Just sharing since I figure others can relate to the struggle with PC docs

Trying to max out free test

Looking to get my free test up to the top of the range if possible. Started on test 17 weeks ago at 120mg test cyp split twice a week. Started testosterone because my e2 and free test were bottom of the ‘range’. After 8 weeks on test I landed at 104pg/ml free test (46-224 ref range) and e2 of 24pg/ml (ref range <29) and total test 811ng/dl. Wanted to maximize my free test and see what my e2 limit was so went up to 160mg split twice a week for the last 10 weeks which put me at 1018 total, 31 e2, and 146 free test. My HCT is perfect, and my cholesterol figures have never been better in my adult life lol (all in great range). I’m 43, 200lbs, lift heavy 3x/wk, cardio 6x/wk, 6’ tall, down 45lbs since 2024, taking 2mg Reta. I was prescribed 200mg/wk test cyp originally and am looking to go up to that dose as my next step to see if I can max out my free test but am thinking I’ll need to adjust pinning frequency to 3x/wk or every other day to keep my e2 from going too high. My SHBG is near top of range which is keeping my free test down despite the high total test. No spicy nips so far but then again 31 e2 isn’t crazy high yet from what I know. So do I up the dose to 200mg but stick with pinning twice a week and see how I feel or should I worry about e2 at this point?

Corn Cob Carl has present for you

Carl recently learned that if he brings me any dirty clothes or kids toys I will quickly offer him chicken or counter scraps in exchange for said item. He trained me well lol

It feels like a disappointed parent too often lol. Yes I’m busy desperately trying to fix my sleep but damn, you don’t have to take that tone with me!!

I am about to start ipamorelin and cjc-1295 no DAC. I have a 5mg vial of each. I want to try a very small dose of the cjc tonight fasted before bed and a small dose of the ipa tomorrow to make sure I don’t experience side effects and because I’m paranoid of having a bad reaction. If I reconstitute both vials with 2ml bac water, then what dose should I take of each to test it and then what dose should I take of each for my protocol if I do a shot in the morning and a shot in the evening fasted before bed? I’ve seen 100-300mcg of each. It’s not blended so I’m looking to expose myself to it this way then planning to order up a kit of them already blended.

Someone sent me a set of Reta 10mg vials that were frozen in their freezer storage. Do I stick them in my freezer now or wait until it’s time to reconstitute them? They’ve been out of the freezer at room temp for shipping since Monday. Dont know if freezing and thawing multiple times is bad for peptides or what.

Second: is it recommended that you refrigerate the bac water after using it the first time or does it matter? Just got a bottle of Hospira brand BAC water and want to make it last safely

Not sure if it’s been posted on here or if people know about it but Costco sells boxes of 100 insulin syringes in multiple sizes at the pharmacy for about 12 bucks. I just recently learned this and thought it was worth spreading the word in case people weren’t aware! I got 20 syringes off Amazon for 14 bucks before I learned I can just buy them at the pharmacy no questions asked

Thinking about DSIP. I can fall asleep fine for the most part but I wake up multiple times through the night and struggle to fall back asleep. I can’t be in bed for 8+ hrs and only get 5-6hrs of sleep according to my Oura ring and I feel like crap all day. Currently on 160mg test c and .75mg twice a week Reta. Would DSIP be the best option for sleep quality? Considering IPA /CJC mix as well.
