Inspected her a few times knowing that the cylinder was hard to push out and one chamber had a slight timing issue - and I was good with that.

Cleaned her and lubed her up and took her to the range. Put some good quality ammo through her - about 100 .357 mag rounds and 100 .38 special +P.

Current Thoughts…

TIMING: did experience the timing issue on one chamber of the cylinder at the range which was not a big surprise since I noticed on inspection. It did cause more of an issue with the highest powered .357. Still will probably send back to SW to correct this.

CYLINDER RELEASE: After a couple cleanings and initial shot test the cylinder loosened up a lot. I’m happy with it now that it smoothed out.

GRIPS:
The walnut grips really started to deepen in color when I hydrated them with some treatment. They feel great, but can batter me with sustained hot .357 mag loads. Hogue grips probably better for comfort, but the bear hug walnuts are too damn beautiful for me to be change now.

HOLSTER:
Was thinking Galco DAO crossover for OWB carry….but have not committed yet due to high price ($200) Recommendations welcomed. Need a couple gun belts too and was thinking Kore.
