I hope I’m not in the wrong place. I would love some input in regards to a 3-night trip to Salem MA in October. We’re from upstate NY. I’m shocked by the hotel and AirBNB prices. Even the closest Motel 6 is $250+ a night. The Hampton is $400. This is 2-3x what we pay for these chain hotels here. At this point I am considering renting an RV for $125/day and sleeping in that. Are there some decent places to park an RV there (like Love’s truck stop)? We just want to enjoy spooky things and do all the tours.

Had some soup at a restaurant that I just loved. It was simple, a creamy chicken soup with rice, lemon and fresh thyme. Wondering if anyone has a recipe for this. I’d like to recreate it this fall.

Has anyone been prescribed benztropine (Parkinson’s med) for medication induced tremors? Was it effective? I have a pretty bad hand tremor from lithium and Abilify and it’s making work difficult since I use my hands as a pharmacy technician counting pills and pouring cough syrups and such. It’s embarrassing and some of my coworkers have asked if I’m ok. I need steady hands. My psych prescribed this yesterday, haven’t tried it yet.

I’m trying not to just accept my expensive Big Agnes tent as totaled. My dog smelled me cooking and burst through the front of it from a sound sleep, like the koolaid man. She shredded the mesh portion but the zippers and all other parts are fine. What type of fabric should I be shopping for? Can it be found easily on Amazon? I want something a little sturdier and don’t really care if a few ounces are added to the weight. I don’t sew but my mom does and is willing to help.

I had went off my meds for 2 months (highly DO NOT recommend).They started me on lithium in the hospital and I’m hoping this will work for me long term. I hate this illness, I just want to feel normal for once. I’m so embarrassed about my meltdown and trying not to beat myself up over it.
