Update on the small Konjac leaf that was eaten. IT'S GROWING BACK!
Probably not gonna be producing much for the corm this year but hey, at least it's trying!

See title. Something ate one of my new konjacs. These are my first foray into amorphophalis, mostly an aroid guy.
Any chance this one could re-leaf or should I just call. It and dig it up for the year?
Thanks
Hey all, first post here

I've always been fascinated by variegations (we called them morphs in the reptile breeding world) and am always curious about where certain cultivars started, how they were developed, who discovered, eg. Wondered if there was an online resource that discusses all the different commercially available variegations and their history (just learned today that Manjula is patent protected and therefor cannot be legally propagated without a license😂).

Bonus Pic of the marble queen I'm growing up a moss pole, would love to get to eventual maturation on this super high white one.

FanControl seems to be having recent issues maintaining control over the AIO Fans and Pump. Its behaving like it is controlling it for a bit, and sticking to the assigned curve, but then it jumps back to some arbitrary speed percentage causing the fans to ramp suddenly up. Super annoying to be sitting here with stable temps and the fans are constantly ramping up and down. I've been using Fan control since November maybe and havent noticed this problem until the last couple of weeks.
Searches for the same issue have proposed fixes by updating FanControl (did that, at the most up to date version), rolling back fan control (tried that, went back to 243 i believe, didnt work), checking Windows Defender (app monitoring is Off), checking BIOS settings (turned Smart Control on and Off, MSI B850). When that little question mark pops up, it shows a list of reasons why the fans may not be responding to the curve, and there is an option to Force Apply, but that doesn't even work. CPU temps are usually nominally around 50C, so I doubt there's any hardware overrides happening if it thinks its overheating.
Not sure what else to try at this point. Pretty close to just saying screw it and and setting it to manual mode.
Hi, first time posting her so sorry if I inadvertabtly break a rule.

I traded for this Prickly pear paddle at a plant swap last fall and the root growth has been incredible. It's been under a mediocre grow light in a mix of seachem flourite (crushed ceramic) and perlite. However after trying to bring it out this summer I think I burned it in the sun. The bottom is still firm as well as the top, but the middle is getting squishy.

What's the best way to save this? I dont want to waste these roots but I'm not familiar enough with cacti (more of an aroid guy myself) to know if I should just slice it below the rot and let it callous, and try and replant to too part later on?

Thanks
Last I heard Njoy was a variegation of E. Aureum, not pinnatum? Or am I mistaken and confused?
Have decided to start trying to mature some of my various pothos variegations, some philos, and some experimental climbers. I am planning on rearranging them so I'm not looking at the back of a moss pole while they try to grab every bit of indirect sunlight from the windows for a lit setup on the other wall.
My question is, do I set them up so that the lights are vertical in front of them like I've seen on so many climbing/maturing setups, or is the light being overhead better to encourage these young plants to grow upwards and climb?
Thoughts?

I think this is a 2 year old spider plant? Decided it needed a bit more room in the pot so it just made some for itself.
What are some laughably root bound plants you've had?
