Anyone got any idea what is this...

I see a green tint on my iphone 13 screen. Why is it happening? I have never replaced the screen.

iPhone 13

So my display is darkened. It's like blacks are more black. But in the system app colours are normal. But when I open pictures every colour is dark. All the settings are as it should be. I have checked on the internet. Any help?

Is anyone here for the summer quarter?

Bro there are huge gaps between classes. It's insanely boring. So if anyone's here for the summer quarter, let me know we'll just chill. I could definitely use some company.

Survival tips💀

Future juniors You probably won't understand this now but you will in a few months. Join a club. Seriously. It's where you'll find your people, your best memories, and the only reason you'll voluntarily stay on campus after classes. Join a club. Any club. The best memories you'll make here will probably come from your club, not your classroom. Campus life here is on ventilator support 💀

Has anyone had any bad experiences with the Domino's outlet at college square..?

The worst Domino's outlet in Cuttack. The customer service is terrible. If you complain about stale food they'll respond with something like If you had given us a 5-star rating we could have given you a free pizza. Otherwise we can't do anything from our end.

The argument with the customer service executive was far more satisfying than the pizza. I'm glad I had a coupon and ordered only for myself so I didn't end up wasting much money.

But the argument? Absolute bliss. Totally worth it.

Two recent mob violence incidents, what are your thoughts..?

After the two recent mob violence incidents I'm curious about what people think. Is it just me or does it feel like people are becoming quicker to react with anger and violence instead of thinking things through calmly?

What are your thoughts on these incidents and the growing tendency toward mob behavior?

Story time.

Although this incident happened a long time ago, my friends brought it up again today and once again promoted me to 'bhai' status, so I thought I'd share it😂😆

I am from Cuttack. One evening, my friend and I had gone to CDA for dinner. We had almost reached my house when another friend called and asked us to come near the stadium for tea and to sit and chat for a while. So we turned the bike around and headed there.

While we were on our way to meet our friend, I noticed a mobile phone lying on the road in front of Golden Spoon Restaurant. The phone was lying face up, and just as we were passing by, a notification came in and the screen lit up, which caught my attention.

I went and checked it. The phone was completely fine, without any scratches or damage. I looked at the emergency contacts and found three or four numbers saved there. Before I could call any of them, an uncle came toward us looking as if he was searching for something. I asked him "kn khojuchanti ki?", and he said, “Han phone khojuchi”

I didn't hand over the phone immediately. First, I asked him what phone he had lost. He replied, “aethi kouthi padithila mu dekhichi” That made me suspicious, so I asked again, “kou phone thila? Kou colour thila?” But he didn't say anything and quietly walked away.

Then I found that the owner's mother's number was saved in the emergency contacts so I called her.

Then aunty answered the call, and before I could say anything, she said, “han kaha kn hela” I replied, “Hello, aunty.”

She asked, “tame kie, mo jhia kai”

I said, “Aunty, ae phone ta road re padithila mu paili, phone ta jahara se kouthi achanti kahidiantu tanku jaiki mu deidabi nahele mu ae jagare achi kahaku patheiki phone ta neijantu.”

Aunty replied, “mu ta janini se ebe kouthi thiba.”

I then said, “aunty se jadi kaha sangare achanti tanku inform karidiantu nahele se jadi ethiki khaibaku asichanti tanka gadi number kahidiantu mu gadi pakhare wait karithibi se asile deidabu.”

But aunty again said, “se ta class jaithila ae time re asuthiba baki mu janini se ebe kouthi thiba.”

So I said, “thk achi aunty apanaka ghara kouthi kuhantu mu neiki phone ta ghare deidebi.”

She gave me the address, and we started heading toward her house. By the time we were on our way, her daughter had already reached home, and aunty informed her that she had dropped her phone on the road.

Then I received another call, and this time it was the daughter on the line.

She said, “kouthi achanti apana please phone ta deidiantu.”

I replied, “chinta karantuni phone bilkul thk achi mu neiki hauchi mu ghara pakhare heigale call karibi apana asiki phone neijibe.”

So we left from near the stadium to deliver the phone. However, it was wedding season, and the roads were quite crowded, so it took us some time to get there.

Meanwhile, they became worried because their house wasn't that far away. As a result, they kept calling us repeatedly to check where we were.

Her daughter guided us over the phone, and I eventually reached her house. She was already standing outside waiting for us. We handed the phone back to her.

You could tell from her face how stressed she had been, and the happiness she felt after getting her phone back was truly worth seeing. It was winter, but she was sweating from all the tension.

The reason I'm sharing this story is that my friends insist that when she thanked me, she said, “Thank you, bhai.” But she never actually said “bhai.”

Whenever we go to the stadium or pass by that road, my friends start teasing me, saying, “Bhai baneidela tate” It's become an inside joke among us now.

So, if this story somehow reaches that girl, I just want to tell her you got your phone back that day, and I ended up getting a sister against my will. I was forcefully promoted to 'bhai' status. I already have two sisters! 😂

But in the end, I just want to say this nowadays, a phone is a very important part of our lives. I knew that no matter where the owner was, it was my responsibility to make sure the phone got back to them. She had probably kept it in her jacket pocket, and that's how it fell onto the road without her even noticing. Be careful and responsible with your belongings. 😊📱
