In De Martino's, Magic a Theory from the South, there's a story mentioning a "deck like in a tavern, but with other cards, including ones with a dog, a flame, and three hearts". Anyone know of good sources that may have cataloged old Italian and Roma fortune telling cards?

Anyone know of a proper service manual for a 1960 Super? Or successfully dismantled one? I can remove all the necessary body screws to free the body, but it appears the carriage needs to be removed to lift the back and slide forward to clear the body panel lip under the spacebar. Would prefer not to slide the carriage assembly off the rails and have to reset the bearing later....
Hit the FB marketplace jackpot today. 1960 Optima Super. Closet stored, with pristine case and all the extras. Platen is still soft! Zee Germans are hard to come by in my area. Excited to get this cleaned up.
Does anyone know of good resources/guides for *tuning* a typewriter? I'm good with repair, cleaning, and oiling, but would like to learn more about the possibilities for improving a machine's action.
