7 month old Labrador

7 month old Labrador

Hi,

My 7 month old is crated at night and it’s usually fine. She’s great about going in, she’s quiet for the most part. Problem is, middle of the night she starts scratching the bottom of her crate. She’s currently sleeping without a pad because she just eats those and tears them up. She gets plenty of enrichment, outside time, walks, play, food, treats, and training. I’m not sure if this is a lab thing, or maybe she’s itchy, or having a nightmare, but she doesn’t make any vocalization while doing it. She potty’s right before bed and right when we wake. She’s probably only crated at night for about 6-8 hours. Any advice? Thanks!

Rate of passing first try

What is the success rate? I see a lot of people on here who don’t pass the first, or even second time. I’ve been getting 80-95 on practice tests. I just fear the wording is tricky and I have a couple weak areas. I’m also a poor test taker. I do however have experience in CRE for several years, which I am hoping helps. Going to use ChatGPT and Compucram anyway. Ohio for reference.

What do you love most about your job?

This is something that’s taken me a long time to figure out. In my previous roles I was very focused on the upward mobility and “climbing the ladder”, which lead me to switching jobs in search of more pay, but also kept me motivated. I’ve worked in commercial real estate for a long time. My last role I thought it was the hybrid model and flexibility and short commute, but eventually those things started to feel heavy instead, when I felt I was under valued and under appreciated. Switching again and hoping this allows me more freedom, as I will be 1099. So for those of you who choose to stay, what keeps you going? What’s your motivating factors, or why do you love your job?

How to teach puppy proper socialization

For context, she's a 7 month old lab and she doesn't seem reactive on walks. Trouble is, someone gives her attention, and she jumps all over them and ignores my cues. Second, when we crate her at home and someone comes over or even knocks on the door and we talk with them, she won't stop barking. I don't know how to teach her to ignore people. She could care less about other dogs, but she still hates our cat lol.

Going back to work after being a SAHM

I stayed home while pregnant since 2019 since I was laid off from my job. I then had two more children and went back to an entry level position in 2024 but quit in 2025. My new position will be 1099, so income will not be consistent but my freedom is more valuable. What influenced your choice to go back to work. How long did it take you?

Questions in Liturgy

Why do sometimes we sing the our father, and sometimes we say it. I notice depending on who our priest is at the mass we attend (we have two), sometimes we do the Kyrie and sometimes we do Confiteor. We also use the breaking bread missal, which I assumed all parishes use, but that's not the case. I'm no longer a neophyte, but still a new catholic, just over a year. Thanks, fathers!

Ohio Exam

If you took it, what were the questions you struggled with the most? What seems to be the bulk of it, or are they evenly spread? Are they categorized or organized by section? Thanks!

Hi, I'm ready to take my practice test and final for my course completion and schedule my state/national test. I don't want to purchase additional study materials; will the practice tests and books be enough? Are there any free products that can help me study better? Thanks!
