Pablo is back with the elephant dangle.

Someone had requested a video the last time I posted a picture. I was finally able to get one this morning.

My kid says it looks like an elephant when Pablo dangles like this. Now I can’t unsee it.

Another dissatisfied customer. Shady business practices from Nextiva.

The sales rep was 10 minutes late for our demo. He tried to say something about his computer freezing up and he had to reboot. But when he did his screenshare he had what must have been 30 or 40 browser tabs open. I should have taken that as the first red flag.

He added two add-ons to our account for their AI agent thing and said we would get it free for 30 days and we could cancel it if we didn't like it. No big deal.

We never used it, so I submitted the request to cancel the service after we got a charge for it. That was over 3 weeks ago. After a few back and forth emails from their support, today I get an email from them stating that because I didn't cancel BEFORE the 30 day window, we have to pay the remainder of the term.

Jokes on me for not paying attention to the terms before I signed up...but now our phone bill is $160+ a month when we were trying to budget for $50-60 for 2 users. It's not the end of the world...but it's just shitty business and I'll be pulling the plug on Nextiva as soon as our term is up.

I run a small business and I've got a LOT of responsibilities to manage...I should have paid attention. I get it. Jokes on me. Just a learning lesson I suppose.

And if u/NextivaOfficial happens to see this - please tell your sales people to do better and to be honest with customers.

My fearless guard dog

We’re on vacation in the mountains this week. There are deer that visit the property multiple times a day and my dog goes absolutely crazy, barking and growling like she owns the mountain…that is, until she comes face to face with one.
