So 4 weeks ago I had 1 long night of food poisoning, made it to where I couldn’t eat a thing for 2 weeks and caused stomach problems (bloating, change is movement, gas pains, loss of appetite) I dropped like 13 pounds in two weeks. No blood in stool thankfully.

I’m male,24 with no family history of G.I. Diseases. I’ve had some stomach problems before, but this is really sent me spiraling as I’ve never had G.I. issues five weeks after the fact. honestly, I’m feeling better than day one I got almost all my appetite back and my weight is plateauing but just still have bowel changes and major bloating/dull cramping. I visited a G.I. For the first time in my life he took a look at me and my blood test and told me most likely my gut just needs time to heal but if in six weeks time, we’ll talk about a scope. I’ve drilled it into my head for some reason I might have CC which I know everyone thinks as soon as they have G.I. problems but it’s made me into an anxious mess. Has anyone had an episode like this that cleared up?

So 4 weeks ago I had 1 long night of food poisoning, made it to where I couldn’t eat a thing for 2 weeks and caused stomach problems (bloating, gas pains, loss of appetite) Went to my GP and a GI and both gave me the idea that my microbiome got wiped out and now that’s why I’m having stomach problems told me about 6 weeks and it should level out. 4 weeks later and I’m 70% better than day 1 and can eat full meals but has anyone gone through a similar problem? I’m new to learning about my guts and seeing everyone say microbiome has lead me here.

3 weeks ago had a bad run in with food poisoning, it only lasted a night but right after and still now I have some lingering symptoms. My appetite left, but it came back almost completely, and the gas pains/stomach pains are not as painful as they were. My bowel changes are pretty prominent going from normal to small pieces to liquid and I’m burping/passing gas like crazy. Sometimes I feel like I can’t push out anything even if it feels like somethings there. The only thing that’s in my head telling me it’s not something worse is the fact that it was like a switch overnight, it’s getting better than what it was 3 weeks ago, I have no blood in my stool and I’m only 25.

In my head and seeing other stories, this seems like textbook PI-IBS but curious if others have been through this. It’s driving me crazy.

I have very light symptoms, but heavy constipation with no pain or anything that would show it to be something bad. It’s got me a nervous wreck thinking it’s the worst thing it could be. Dr google didn’t help. even after seeing my real DR he just let me know recovery for GI issues take a while and he’s pretty certain it’s not cancer or something along those lines because I’m 24 with no family history plus this happened over night instead of months. I just feel like the anxiety is telling me I’m gonna die but when I have moments of clarity, I start to feel better when the anxiety isn’t gripping my insides. Has anyone had a similar experience in gi issues that took weeks to get over? Just scared to my core and want to feel better. (I know the only true way to know anything is testing, just looking to see if anyone’s been through a similar thing)

I’ve been in the automotive world for 6-8 years by now, my mother spent her career as a saleswoman and advisor so I’ve lived in a dealership it’s all I know. I’m only 24 but so far was a mechanic, wheel repair, and glass repair now I’m inventory for a specialty car dealer.

Point is I know my mom made 80-110k in Louisiana as an advisor but I only make 45-55k commission, is the automotive world here in Dallas pay you that well? I see that on job listing advisors make 90-140k is that true? I don’t know if I should make the jump but I’m tired of not making much in today’s age.

Sometimes when I go to start it up, it tries like 10 times to fire up and then finally does. it’s intermediate, sometimes it takes two cranks, Sometimes it doesn’t do it at all. Has anybody ran into this problem?

I was recently given a huge box of my childhood action figures, cars, and other collectibles. If I wanted to sit down one day with a toothbrush and clean them what is a good all purpose cleaning mix that wouldn’t hurt the paint or cause long term damage?

We have a couple Bandai gachapon stores that have opened in my area (USA) They are super cool except one spin is anywhere from 3 to 6 tokens but each token is $3. This feels quite expensive. Is that how much it normally is for everybody else? Especially the six token figures definitely do not feel like they’re worth $18.
