This bag is not very widely repped and the large is currently only repped in this colour combo, which works for me because I really wanted a black bag I could use for work without babying too much. The oxblood interior is just a bonus. It’s a lovely pop of rich colour that doesn’t scream for attention.

I wanted a bag that could fit my laptop and all the other nonsense I carry around for work. This one’s perfect! The leather is soft, the turnlock hardware is functional, and the interior is fully leather lined and super spacious. The leather itself is quite nice too, thick yet flexible? Not sure how else to describe it.

The handle is comfortable and easy to carry on the shoulder or by hand, not heavy. I was told by my seller that the smaller sizes come with a crossbody strap, so I did ask if the factory could add one to the large. They said it wasn’t possible and also the auth soft large doesn’t have it anyway.

No funky smell when it arrived. I did have to wipe the turnlock hardware a little after removing the protective plastic, but that’s about it. I will say that I think the auth is made with a really smooth calfskin, whereas this one has a tiny bit more texture. It’s barely noticeable though, and for the price I have no complaints lol. The logo is also an official Ferragamo typeface but it’s the sans serif instead of the serif font, but again, it’s such a minor detail.

Overall, it’s such a lovely bag and exactly what I was looking for in a work tote. Understated, practical, and easy to use. I’ll definitely get a lot of wear out of it. Even my mum really loves it, so I’m gonna let her take it out for a whirl first.

So I bought the gold python bag from TT seller Ying Rong a while back and no other sellers seemed to have access… until now! Vincent has them! I’ve been hesitant to strongly recommend YR because it’s a gorgeous bag but he charges an incredible premium (Chanel croc bags from him are 1700+ while Mina/Sixteen quoted 800+). So this seller Vincent/Henry is charging $300, which is a whopping $100 lesser than YR who charged me $400). I’m just so excited I wanted to share lol! I’m thinking of getting the black and will post it when if I do…
