Pro tip: get multiple SAD lamps

I started light therapy a few weeks ago, and I've found having them in the places I'm likely to be in the mornings has been crucial to compliance.

I have:

1 at my home desk for my work from home day

1 at my work desk for the rest of the week

1 free standing lamp at my sofa for weekend mornings

There's just always one where I need it vs needing to shuttle the one or two I own around. Hoping it makes a big impact for me!

M1 - it blows my mind the grate can't be just popped out

My cat pees high and down the wall, so the grate gets pretty soaked. The litter sticks to it and causes it to clump. Eventually it can close almost all of the holes.

Took it out to clean for the first time, and I was shocked it's SCREWED in? Seems like such a dumb design choice.

The 4d is a really garbage product

I've had it for about 4 months now, and it just... Never fully works. I have a few different complaints, but the biggest one is the random flickering.

Some days it'll work just fine. Other days, it flickers incessantly. Often it'll start out working for the first half hour or so of use before strobing in the middle of a show or movie, ruining a scene and interrupting our evening.

Previous firmware updates that allegedly addressed this haven't fixed it on mine.

It flickers on solid colors, 3d, 4d, scenes, etc. Every possible setting.

Is there anything I can do to make it work, or am I shit out of luck?

Food truck at Speedway off Verona is ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've been on the hunt for the best tacos in Madison. I've been disappointed by a lot of the options. I stopped by last night after driving past it maybe a dozen times, and their tacos al pastor are amazing. You can even see the trompo with the meat on it! The pineapple slices they include are also from fresh pineapple - not canned. The tortillas are made well and not stale like at some other places.

We also got a few carne asada and a few carnitas which were fine.

But for the best version of a taco, highly recommend them and their al pastor specifically.

Are stadium chairs rude at Breese?

Going to a Forward game and my aching back appreciates support. Got one of these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/3147015083?sid=4bbb99e6-03b2-40f8-82df-c0b64e33e757

Their FAQ says they're allowed, but reading online, it seems like some folks don't like them because they restrict leg room for the people behind.

Is this a common opinion amongst people who go to Breese? Should I just leave it at home?

Don't wanna be rude and also don't wanna ache for 3 days post match.

(Yes I'm in physical therapy)

Do we really want a governor who shies away from fights?

I've been thinking about this whole Crowley debacle. Dude gave up when things got tough. He literally quit. Sometimes even losing battles are worth fighting. Is someone more interested in self preservation versus litigating his case for a better Wisconsin really someone we want leading the state?

We need bold vision. Not cowardice and weak spine.

Do pet owners actually license their cats and dogs?

Just found out this was a thing. Applied for one but got hit with a late fee. Do people actually register their pets and pay the licensing fee, or is this just silly admin everyone (except me I guess) ignores?
