AMEX accounts no longer updating?

This is a big bummer because I have several HSA's and a few CC's. One Step Update doesnt even list the amex accounts when it updates.

Anyone have resolution being the usual deactivate/reset steps? It's been a week now.

One more day... Not sure what to so

Staying down at quinnault so putting down some mileage on the rental car. Nonetheless, having a great time but can't help feel like I'm missing the connection to how this place is a nationalpark.

There's no main entrance like death valley or Yosemite. It seems like the park itself is just the beach on the far west, the Hoh, hurricane ridge, sol duc... I know it sounds like I'm running down a checklist - it's more that I'm wanting to make sure I'm not missing the essence of the place

Today my plan is lake crescent, flattery then back to quinnalt. Tomorrow, the Hoh and Ruby and maybe that's it?

Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but is it really just about going point to point?

Not maxing, so how about 2 Roths?

I want to make sure im thinking this through. I've built a savings plan with allocations across different HYSA's, Brokerages and Retirement accounts. For me personally, I like having several buckets so i have an easy process for managing my savings allocations.

With the above in mind, I want to do contribute a small amount of my total savings towards speculation. My thinking is 2 Roth Accounts - neither of which will hit the contribution max at this time (just fyi).

Can I do something like, Roth A for long term investments, then Roth B for speculation?

The thinking is, say i hit on a killer stock in roth b. I'd then want to move some of those winnings into Roth A, and increase my index allocation.

All good or am I missing something?

Was struggling with Harvester of Sorrow solo until...

I know, I know - It's not Kirk's best but im learning to shred and I've been at it for a while.

Its like 93bpm but the little shreddy lick right after the bends has been really hard to nail down. I'm at 83bpm and felt that last 10bpm is just light years away... until I heard Kirk play it on the album... It wasn't clear really at all when i slowed it down.

Feels good knowing I can play it at Kirk Kuality. I'll get it down nice and clear though.

Thanks for reading.

Shredding tips?

Im working with a metronome, incorporating pick slanting and escape motions... Some licks are just not coming along and feel like they've only shown marginal improvement over weeks even with near daily practice.

Any tips?

Edit: Those that suggested to focus on not tensing up - my guess is thats my current roadblock.

Will the white finish turn yellow?

I want an 80's explorer in classic white but did find some owner that showed his had started to yellow which I'm not a big fan of. If thats the case, then maybe I should just go Black which would still look killer.

Any gibson owners with guitar finishes in white - is yellowing over time just what they do?

Anyone else feel strats need a little... Help?

With nothing at all in the signal chain, the versatility and clarity is there but when I started getting into guitar a few years back, I couldn't help think, "Interesting... Never thought I wouldn't be that into a Stratocaster."

Now over the past several months, I've gotten more into pedals, and now reverb, delay and saturation have made all the difference in the world.

Himbuckers on the other hand, just resonated from day 1.

Am I alone with this perspective?

It's been a while since I've seen it mentioned but when I was just getting into guitar in the past few years, it seemed like the tube screamer was almost divisive here. But I don't ever recall anything more than, "Too much mids for me!".

Im big into 80's Metallica and have both a maxon 808, a TS9 and a 2203x reissue and... Idk, maybe my ears just aren't that good, but I just get a nice push.

Is there a specific application where the honk really comes out or something, because I never really ran into that.

Maybe my imagination, but just seemed like the ts was a bit controversial here, even though it's a legend in rock application.

Answering prompts without context, even though same thread

Unable to reference anything recently relevant - hadn't heard of One Battle After Another.

Also, the sassiness fro a month or so is back with the, "I hear what you're saying, but let me tell you why you're wrong..."

Hi folks, trying to just survey the pedal population here. I'm very much a do it right the first time even if it costs a bit extra kind of person. I also think something like MIDI would be a fun thing to nerd out with.

I have Source Audio, Strymon and then several other run of the mill pedals.

Should I just look into something like GigRig or is it gonna end up being needlessly complex?

Just looking for some discussion and a bit of direction. Currently an at-home player/hobbyist that just wants to get more out of their pedals and wants a nice clean board and would like to be able to swap some pedals in and out without issues, if possible, though the Strymons and Ventris and EQ2 would probalby not leave the board.

Appreciate the discourse.

I feel like this is up there with a Tumnus-style pedal. Just gives the right kind of texture.

Maybe it competes with so many others but those that have tinkered with one and decided against it - why?

Just got back from two weeks in Japan and enjoyed some sake.

Is there a good bottle that's fairly common in stores but not entry level sake?
