I currently have a Model Y Premium on order and I’m wondering if it’s worth upgrading to the Performance because of the free premium connectivity. I already added silver exterior and white interior, so the price is getting pretty close to the Performance anyway.

My main concern with the Performance is the 21" wheels and the slightly lower ground clearance. Other than the faster acceleration (which I don't really need), is there anything else about the Performance that makes it worth upgrading from the Premium?

Anyone else have this issue? I have a Model Y on order in Canada. A few days ago I accidentally selected a demo vehicle in the GTA, then switched back to my original order.

After that, the vehicle details started showing in French in both the Tesla app and the Manage Order page on the website. The vehicle details in the order email are also in French.

Everything else is still in English, including the app, website and the rest of the emails. It is only the vehicle configuration that shows in French.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you get it changed back to English?

Planning on ordering a Tesla Model Y soon, with delivery expected around December or January. For Tesla owners in KW, where did you get your winter tires and rims, and where do you usually go to have them swapped?

Has anyone compared insurance costs for a Tesla Model Y vs BMW iX3? Which one is generally more expensive to insure?

I’m considering getting a Tesla Model Y and wanted to hear from people who actually own one in KWC.

A few things I’m curious about:

How has your experience been with the Tesla service centre in Kitchener? Is it generally easy to get appointments, and how has the quality of service been when you’ve needed repairs or warranty work?

I’m also wondering how the Model Y handles Kitchener / Waterloo roads during winter and especially spring when the potholes get pretty bad. Since it sits a bit lower than a lot of other compact SUVs, have you had any issues with ground clearance, scraping, suspension, or damaging the wheels and tires?

How is it in deeper snow and on roads that haven’t been plowed yet?

For those who have owned one for a while, would you buy a Model Y again? Any annoyances or unexpected costs that you wish you knew about before buying?

I drive to Mississauga every few months and usually take the 401. Yesterday was brutal in both directions (departed at 10am and drove back around 3:30pm). Google Maps had me taking back roads until I was past Milton leaving and until highway 6 coming back. Is that pretty common these days, or was yesterday just unusually bad?
