RT actually gets to the second level after opening a blocking hole, then inexplicably turns around and runs into RB

Early season jitters I guess

Prime example of Robo-QB [this play lost me the CFB Playoffs]

QB literally starts his throwing motion AS he looks cross-field to find the open bailout and delivers a dot. Didn't even have eyes laid on his man before throwing.

And this isn't Mahomes no-look bullshit either this is just RoboQB at work.

I am at peace with being picked apart on D by a better team and offense but this ridiculous

As an offline dynasty player, I get this pop up all the time, and I couldn’t give a hoot

Like oh noooo I won’t get my little ultimate team slopcoins to allow EA to suckle every last cent out of my gambling addiction off me oh noooooo

gave his assignment a hug and then hit the "awww shucks! awww man!!"

I was about to bench him but then saw he's an 88 Rated All-American....bruh get your pads down and prove it

When you run your scrambling QB out-of-bounds to avoid wear & tear contact, but the animation-based engine has the defender tackle him 4 yards out-of-bounds anyways 🙃 (with no flag)

CPA, 6 yrs in WM - what's the path forward to pivot out (if there is one)?

Hi, long time commenter first time poster.

I'm essentially a support advisor at an RIA, making decent money but no book ownership. Have been in WM since graduation, performed well, regular bonuses and a few promotions. Went back to school for accounting last year [online] and cranked out the CPA (have CFP as well).

Basically, I've come to the realization that I can take a career break and come back to a position exactly like this one. With that, I'm not a 'natural' people person - and while my introvertedness makes me a damn good listener as an advisor, I may want to explore a different career with more numbers than people.

Lots of fields I'd be interested in - B4 Tax/Audit, corporate fin., corporate accounting, banking. I am really interested in just doing "something different". Keeping the career options broad to try and counteract this brutal hiring market. Have gotten no progress from apps so far. Idk if I can narrow it down from there, as I've literally had no working experience other than WM (but lmk if this is the wrong approach and I should narrow this down more)

Everything's on the table - from city relocation, pay cut, grinding for a few years, rotational programs or even going back for an MBA to assist in landing a new career (if I can get into a T15 program).

So my questions:

  • Would it be uncouth to apply for early career/rotational programs? Feel like I'm in a catch-22 where I'm too old to apply for Rotationals, but also don't have the chops to direct-hire into a desk. But I am still a "recent grad" w/ my accounting degree. Idk how frowned upon this is or if I should use this status to my advantage
  • If you're a hiring manager - how are you judging me from the credentials listed above, and what should I prepare for in interviews/cover letter?
  • What are some pivot-friendly paths in finance or accounting?
  • Can I DM you my resume for feedback?

And let me just say - I know I can, but I don't feel like starting my own firm or tax practice at this time. And I'm not buying into partnership for my current firm. I'm aware of how good my field can be, and I'm well lined up to successfully take it - I am just really considering all options available outside of that at this point

Thanks and appreciate your reading.

Dynasty: What are the 'Green Notifs' XP going towards - and do I earn them while simming?

When you see those green notifs come in: "+5 for first down", "+25 for TD/Sack", are those towards your XP level-up (i.e. "you're level 15 now!) or towards your Skill-Build (Motivator/Tactician/etc.)?

And do you gather these points while simming? Or manually? Is it worth it to try to farm these points during a blowout?

Basically, as a DC at a lowly school, trying to see if I have to play every snap or if it's worth it to throw it on sim if I'm getting shellacked or dominating ourselves.

Thanks, having a blast with this game. But it's incredibly robust and deep, just trying to get a handle on it.

🔥 Hot ▲ 5.5k r/ForzaHorizon

Every race…..

Also this pissed me off enough to pause the game and draw this so I better not get taken down for “low effort”

If you are a fan of Justice, you have to check out KASABLANCA

Their track "You" is the title track for the new Forza Horizon 6, which made me go on a rabbithole.

Linked is their Mexico City set from last year. It is INCREDIBLE. Very aligned to Justice/Daft Punk/Chemical Bros/Kraftwerk. Lots of synth work.

Criminally underrated duo. I hope the new hype from their Forza virality propels them to a big tour soon.

Figured I'd share something to make it thru the long long winter as our boys recede back to France after closing the Hyperdrama era.

Why do massive tangles keep happening?

First time out in a long while, got a Okuma 2-piece that was pre-spooled.

Went out to the lake. Couldn’t cast probably more than 10-15 times in a row before I’d feel a “catch” upon cast release and a tangle further up the rod. I’d cut the tangle out, and re-tie my lures. This happened probably 4 times.

For context I was using Panther Martin and Mepps size 1.

It got kinda better throughout the day - which has me thinking was it ‘memory’ in the spool line causing it? Was the line not taut enough?

Thanks!

Well, if that isn’t a metaphor of how this whole job search has been going……
