Maybe they are actually going to fix the problems with the last fix. The Desktop seems to be down, not allowing logins. One can only hope.

I really hope they fix the Analyze tab , jumping to the Risk profile, but after 2 weeks I am doubtful.

Logged back in today , but on logging out not offered to stay logged in for the day. I was surprised, but maybe this is just a safety feature. No big deal and probably more secure this way.

I SELL options that are Naked , not Cash Secured, at brokers like IB, Schwab, Tasty. Is Etrade in this game?

Basically all of these give Option Buying Power on treasuries (98% face) or 75% face (Sgov, Tbil, Bil,...),. So if I sell a 200 Put Strike my BP goes down by 2k-4k, if approved for option selling. If not approved it would be a CSP and require 20k (no interest to me). The Sgov continues to earn interest.

I did a cold call got some rube just out of college and he was clueless had no idea of what Buying Power was.

Update 8/26; After reviewing ETRADE , totally non competitive for Selling Naked Options. They are off my list.

Is there any good reason for a normal user to have Encryption on. I realize MS forces this during the install, but I am just a normal person and just do not get it. It seems turning off encryption would mean that I would never have to input the bitlocker key (yes I have it pasted on the wall by the computer).

I also have a yellow sticky with my password, on the underside of my laptop, if that helps your answer.

I had opened Tos mobile during the night. When I got up a few hours later and Tos desktop ask me for my 2 step mobile verification this went wrong.

The mobile (still open and working) said it could not give me a code. Logged off the app, but then it would not let me login. I called Schwab and got in however the mobile was still out. I rebooted the phone and everything cleared up.

So if you have a similar problem , try booting the phone.

Strange , for the longest time Schwab was only giving me 70% face on my Sgov holdings. It seems this changed to 75% at some point and I was totally unaware. I am not close on BP so I guess I never checked.

Does anyone know when it changed??
