Well, I love a challenge that can be done in short bursts between work and sleep, so I present this mysterious mystery (or legendary legend if ya nasty)!

The other day, my kids were crafting while I was doing something else in another part of the house.
Lo and behold, my 4yo took the time and effort to craft this lovely outfit from a balloon.
I was inspired to rewatch Asterix Vs. Caesar after discovering the 1999 live-action film is on Tubi, and had a blast revisiting the animated film after not watching it for about 20+ years (grew up with it on a really shit transfer VHS).
However, I have a question I’ve thought about since the mid-90s. They cut to this enslaved woman for about 2-3 seconds, and don’t identify her beyond extrapolating the context of her being in a group of slaves from Roman conquests.
IS she someone significant from the comics? It bothers me that they’d cut to her like she’s some sort of Easter egg!
Let’s see if you can pick up what I thought was so goddamned funny about this tiny little board book I skimmed in a waiting room…
