Mouse mode never seemed to go anywhere

I know you can just use a usb mouse on most consoles but having a controller that instantaneously switches to mouse mode sounds awesome. Will it ever be used well? Maybe a Baldurs Gate 3 port or a new Mario Paint?

Destiny Quest just isn't for me

I know it's highly regarded but the way you can just retry every combat ruins it for me. The early combat encounters are too easy to lose so why even bother if your health just goes back to maximum? Why ever use a consumable? You will lose it for good and be left in a worse position that skill cannot overcome. Eventually you will get lucky rolls and win. Ok, but I didn't do anything other than roll dice and eventually get lucky. Everything else seems on point but I can't get over the fundamental retry concept. So much effort went into the books but I can't find anything fun about the gameplay. I almost completed book 2 and it never clicked like I hoped.

Who owned it back in the day?

I was so lucky as a kid. I saw Terranigma and Lufia 2 advertised in a Kmart or Target brochure on special for $20 a piece. This was in Australia. I wasn't certain they were jrpgs because info was hard to come by but I took a chance and got the 2 best SNES jrpgs. RRP was $120 per game back then too.

How will work from home work?

What scenarios do you imagine WFH being acceptable? Eg. Today my school has no classes (it's basically a fete/festival day) and I'm ES instrumental music teacher. I have no duties and just have to be on site. Seems like a candidate for work from home. What other scenarios seem likely to be acceptable (assuming my example is acceptable)

Comic: do I have to understand mazikeen?

I really dislike when comics have hard to understand dialogue. Borrowed this from a friend and already I can't follow a single word mazikeen says. Will this be a big problem going forward?

ZA story

I've almost completed this game and noticed the motivation for your character, the main female lead and another character is "have to work hard for mother" or "have to work harder for dad" or even "have to do it for the boss". Considering Japanese work culture and the target audience it reads like brainwashing the next generation of salary men for a life of servitude to the boomers and the CEO. Probably just my suspicious mind and it's a nothing burger but I thought I would share my thoughts.

Good beginner alternate plucking riffs

Suggest me good beginning alternative plucking bass lines for my students. I typically use Cake By the Ocean as an introduction. Could be old or modern tunes. Any help appreciated cheers.

As a Victorian ES music instructor how many students am I legally allowed to supervise?

Currently leading a 13 piece ensemble with no supervisor and now 3 more and being added. Is this acceptable?
