Hi All

So here goes. I'm 46M living in Lake Macquarie and I'm looking to expand (read create) my social circle. I have always had difficulty connecting with others, especially other men. My current circle consists of my family and two friends I see maybe once or twice a year. I really struggle with small talk and going to pubs or noisy places, so I am hoping to find people like me who would like a quiet place to have good conversations. Things like politics, social change, mental health and improvement, sharing stories and generally just enjoying the company of others. I know there have been a few general event catch-ups posted here and I keep promising myself I'll go to the next one, but they always seem to fall on dates that don't work for me.

I want something self-sustaining, where I don't have to be there every time and everyone can suggest changes/improvements as it goes. While I'd also like people around my age to hang out with, I'm happy to have good conversations with anyone - I'm not picky.

Hi all. My son is chasing something for his school formal in November, and I'm struggling to find anything new that meets his needs. I don't really want to take my chances on magically finding his suit at a thrift store or online, nor do I want to spend thousands on a potential once-off wear (although given his style, I'm guessing he'll get a few wears out of it). Hopefully the link works - this is the style he's looking for. Going down the Amazon or AliExpress path may not be the best idea, as most seem to be more "costume" quality. Also, the fits are questionable.

Does anyone know of anywhere local (Sydney, Central Coast or Newcastle preferably) that would deal with this kind of style?
