Legacy Tablo may have died. Never had an issue before we were forced to update.

UPDATE: Thanks to a u/ChapterSalt1453 & u/wildsprite for there comments on this post & there suggestion to replace the power cord. I bought a new power cord and the tablo works again! Also I purchased a new powered usb hub because I thought my powered usb hub that I bought 4 months ago was bad. It wasn't. The power cord caused everything else to not work like it should. Even though the tablo had a blue light, the power cord was still bad.

Figured this would happen.

Never had an issue with my legacy tablo quad. Never once.

Soon after I updated, I got the no storage error.

OK. I did some Troubleshooting and after reading I decided to buy a powered usb hub. That fixed that issue.

Last night after 4 months I get no storage issue again. I checked and the powered usb hub seemed like it was bad. So I bought another one. A tp link one. This time that didn't fix issue.

Now the tablo is making a noise, and there are no lights on the tablo. I unplugged the tablo, still nothing.

Is this a coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

Again never had an issue until this forced update.

Now the tablo app on my roku can't find my tablo so I can't see any info.

When the no storage issue happened yesterday the tablo so would still load just fine and I could see all my settings, etc. Just no recordings. At that time My wife checked it last night and it just updated 6 days ago. Unfortunately I don't checked the version of the update.

Now I can't load the tablo and I see nothing.

I guess if my tablo is bricked or dead, I only lost out on if course an older tablo that had lost some of it's value, an expensive external hd, all my recordings, the cost of 2 powered usb hubs and the cost of my lifetime subscription.

My 14yr old mower. still going strong, hoping to get my more years out of it.

My 14-year-old Honda mower still running strong after all these years.

Bought in 2012. It’s just hard to believe it’s been that long since I bought it.

Starts on first pull every time

One of the best purchases I have ever made

Definitely my best lawn tool purchase I’ve made over weedeaters, edgers, etc.

Recently just changed the oil, the spark plug, air filter, belt, both blades and adjusted the drive.

I can’t believe I may be looking at getting some new tires before the mower even wears out.

I’ve had mowers in the past before that they would give me problems and I’d get rid of them long before the tires.

Hoping to get many more years of usage out of it.

Getting ready for our 2nd summer, went out and started both of the ATVs. They started quickly without issues

last year I bought the echo trailer (put electric trailer brakes on it, because I didn't want to take chances on the hills) and also decided to buy a 2020 Kodiak 450 for my wife and a 2008 grizzly 700 for myself.

Letting both of them sit on the trailer in the insulated garage for the first winter we’ve had them, I went and started them, and they started easily. They have not been started for several months since it started getting cold and snow in the winter. I filled the tanks completely with ethanol free fuel.

The 08 grizzly now has 1026 miles and 106.8 hours. When I bought the Grizzly it had 996 miles and 98.8 hours. 30 miles and 8 hours the 1st summer.

The 20 Kodiak now has 1280 miles and 160.1 hours. When we bought the Kodiak it had 1252 miles and 150 hours. 28 miles and 10 hours the 1st summer.

After I first got both of them, not knowing what the maintenance records were, and when you buy them, even though the previous owner tells you all this, I went ahead and changed all the fluids, the air filters and the spark plugs. I also left them connected to the noco genius 2×2 for the winter as well.

Getting ready to go onto our second summer, I’ll see what the wife and I can go on.

In northern Colorado, I’ve already tried rampart range (the beginner trail, since my wife is new on these) Dakan trail (which was our favorite) and Switzerland trail by gold hill.

Has anyone dealt with the Hanger Clinic for therapeutic shoes?

Has anyone dealt with the Hanger Clinic for therapeutic shoes?

About therapeutic shoes, has anybody worked with the Hanger Clinic that has been able to get Hoka?

I was approved for some therapeutic shoes from the VA and they sent my prescription over to the Hanger Clinic. I had just got my insoles from the Hanger Clinic not long ago.

The person at the Hanger Clinic immediately ordered me these gray Brooks with yellow soles. (Mens Adrenaline GTS 25 primer gray / Jasmin)

I told them that they would not work for me because I need black for my work.

The Hanger clinic then emailed me the only 3 black shoes that they could get, the Dr. comfort shoes.

These 3 models; Dr. Comfort - Performance 7611-shoe, Dr. Comfort - Jay 52010 -shoe, & Dr. Comfort stability fly - maa032mblk-shoe.

I don’t know if they could get Hokas or not but I've seen past about people getting Hokas before, I just don’t know what shoe place they got them from, and if they were paid for by the VA

The reason I want hoka it’s because I’ve went to the store. I’ve tried those on, I’ve tried on the Brooks, the hoka are very comfortable.

I don’t want the Hanger Clinic to order me a pair of the Dr. comfort and they don’t feel good it fit right. Then they send them back, they order me another pair that don’t feel good, they go back. I don’t wanna go through the back-and-forth process.

Do you know if there is a way that the Hanger clinic can order Hoka?

If the Hanger Clinic cannot get Hoka, can I go somewhere else or can the VA get them for me?

Thank you!

Yesterday I went online to start an intent to file because I have 3 issues that I need to file a claim for, but I don’t have all my stuff so I figured I’d start an intent to file.

I went in to "file a disability claim online" and filled out a little information and then it says it was saved automatically

I went to "my VA" to verify my intent to file and scrolled to the bottom and it tells me I have a "Draft application for intent to file" and the application expires on July 1, 2026. Last saved on: May 2, 2026

So I think I need to myself that I need to open it up and finish the draft.

I open it and when I start to go to step 2 "your benefit selection" it then says "You already have an intent to file for compensation. Our records show that you already have an intent to file for compensation. Your intent to file will expire on May 2, 2027."

If I have an intent to file, why is it a draft and why will expire in 90 days?

This is confusing?

(I was working with the VSO but the VSO is so very inconsistent. I’d remind him to reply to some emails because he wouldn't, then he would only answer certain questions. I had an ACE exam and a C&P exam coming up, so I asked him which claim was for my ace, and which was for my C&P and he gave me the wrong information on that.

Anyone else have this issue with the intent to file showing as a draft. Is it an intent to file?

Thank you.

Besides normal payroll taxes, I looked at how much my wife and I are actually living without.

Between my wife and I, we’re actually living on 40% of our income

I invest 40% of my pay into the TSP ($1250 every pp) She invest 10% and to her 401 ($350 every pp) and then 10% of our income to our church monthly. Both my TSP and her 401 are Roth.

After doing the math and checking everything, it was crazy to see that we’re actually making it on that amount.

It helps being that our only child is out of the house living on his own, and that our house is paid off and we have no car payments. We just have our normal monthly expenses.

If you do the math, it’ll probably surprise you how much you’re actually living on. It surprised me.

I installed this turnbuckle several years ago and noticed lately that my gate has been sagging

I went to turn the turnbuckle while holding one of the eye hooks with a pair of pliers, and it started tightening, and then slipped, and it’s now looser and has more slack in the cables than I had originally.

I tried to tighten the turn buckle and it’s actually twisting the cable so it snaps back

Any ideas on how to fix this? If I could figure out how to get one of the ferrules off I have excess cable on both sides of the turnbuckle. I tried using vice grips and the ferrule can’t be squeezed enough to open it up.

Thanks, I appreciate it!
