Bam gets a lot of shit for being a brat, but after re watching, I think he was co mvp with Knoxville in “number 2.” He was more gnarly than people give him credit for.

Does it kind of bother anyone else that Tape B’s producer tag is an AI manipulation of a dead artists voice?

I love tape b and more so I love it when DJs have cool producer tags, like when zeds dead uses the scene from pulp fiction or OG Nixin using “Gotcha Bitch” from the chappelle show. When I heard Tape B using a snippet from Big L, I was pumped because I’m a huge hip hop fan. For those who don’t know, Big L was a really influential rapper from New York that got murdered in the late 90s. I thought it was so cool that Tape B found a big L song that says “Tape B” in it, and he kind of mixed it together. I initially thought maybe that’s where Tape B got his name from.

But after trying to find the song that the snippet came from, I found out that he just took Big L’s voice and put it in a AI manipulation site and made it spit out “Yo Tape B, show em how it’s done.”

Ever since then I thought it was super lame. Not even just from the fact that it’s not creative at all, but that it’s kind of odd to make someone who got murdered spit out your name and then use it as your signature tag line

Am I just being a hater for this?

It’s crazy how the chain reaction set off by the decision to do Jackass 4 seemingly affected so many of the Jackass guys’ lives negatively.

Poopies- Ended up completely broke and addicted to Meth. He also nearly lost his hand to a shark. Seems to be doing better now but was a rough go for a while. Maybe this would’ve happened regardless but the hand injury wouldn’t have.

Bam-Burned all bridges with jackass and wants nothing to do with it. Hasn’t spoked with any of them in years and especially hates Knoxville and Tremaine.

Steve-O- Jackass forever imo really lead to the steve-o YouTuber era. Before 2020, he was pretty universally loved. But with his podcast really taking off after the movie came out, his personality really shifted. He seemingly became a corporate conservative/corporate shill. The last episode of his podcast was him trying to mend the relationship from his former co-host after their friendship and partnership got ruined due to steve-o being a dick. Nearly every comment is talking about how much steve o sucks.

Johnny- It’s stunt related but Johnny suffered the worst injury of his career with the bull magic trick. It needed his stunt career and caused him to go into a 6 month depression.

Zach- When Zach got signed on he was fat. He’s since became ungodly obese and looks as if he’s going to die.

Rachel- appears to almost be going through a bit of a mental episode? She clearly had a hard time with her role in the movies and is crashing out on twitter nearly every day and has burned all bridges with jackass.

Wee man- The video of him being choked out and him getting Natalie fired has done a pretty good amount of damage to his image. I mean, John c Reilly called him a little bit*ch. That had to sting.
Also now you have Rachel saying he doesn’t like gay. People.

Ehren-Nearly lost his testicle and almost wasn’t able to have kids.

In the pod steveo did with Pontus, he mentions that Tremaine forced the WB crew to shoot for 29 days straight, working 12+hour days. The crew would only get paid for one day of work and were not granted overtime or any financial kickback. At times they weren’t allowed to eat

Discussion around this starts at the 19:40 mark. He mentioned that while steve o and Chris got paid per episode, the crew didn’t. So they would film multiple episodes at a time, leading to work days that lasted well over 12 hours every day. The crew was not paid by episode, but by per day, so the goal was to jam as much content into one day to make as many episodes as possible.

Welcome to the set Bam Bam 🥲

This was my favorite shot of the movie. Johnny was so happy to have Bam there

Welp he didn’t say shit

On the third time I thought I would’ve been used to it but it’s getting old. The Cavs are in limbo until til he makes his decision. He’s really milking it this time. I love Bron and want him back but goddamn

Just re watched jackass forever and it’s funnier than I remember

There’s some genuinely great stuff in there and the first 15-20 mins or so is right up there with classic jackass. The problem is it just suffers from bad stunt selection on some parts. And some of the new cast (Rachel and Zach) don’t sell the bits. Part of what makes jackass funny is how they don’t want to do the stunts, but Zach and Rachel just don’t do a good job of it. Poopies on the hand was awesome. I was also suprised by Erik manaka, he did some decent stuff too.

The mgk bit, the mime game, the vulcher bit, the ending bit were all kind of dumb but if they put in the swing set bit with Nick Merlino and Zack sashimi it it would’ve been better. But overall I found myself laughing quite a bit.

The Knoxville pranks I thought were great. Especially the one where he’s hanging from the light pole.

In an old interview, Bam said that Dicomillos mentality was “Why would I use up all of my funniness so Jeff Tremaine can buy a mansion in the hills.” Was there previous tension between Jeff and the CKY crew?

I copied the link below. What’s interesting is The video is clearly before Bam has his falling out with jackass, with him even saying he hopes “Brandon snaps out of it.”

Is there any validity to some of bams current claims that Tremaine is greedy?

The Bam/Johnny Knoxville falling out sucks because after re-watching old jackass, it really feels like they had a different kind of connection.

Idk if anyone else has picked up on this but after re-watching the show and the first 3 movies (plus .5s) I noticed that Knoxville seems to really love Bam in almost a brotherly way, more than the other guys in the crew. It kind of seems like he sees bam as more of an equal than the other guys. I almost forgot how much stuff they’re in together. Even when they aren’t involved in the skit, they’re usually right next to each other laughing with each other (like in the king Kong skit). After watching the 24 hour takeover, at the end Bam loses it and punches Preston and storms off. Johnny’s the one who goes to find bam and try’s to calm him down

Bam is also one of the only ones to really prank Knoxville. I’m not sure if it’s because bam came from an outside source (cky) or because he was one of the biggest stars or just because Knoxville credits bam with being a huge reason for jackass going in the direction it did but I really get the sense that Johnny really loved him. Sad.

Daniel Schneeman is batting .130 in the month of June and .209 on the year. He’s 3-31 in his last 34 at bats with 12 strikeouts in that stretch.

I’m not sure what happened to Schnee. He got off to such a hot start but outside of that grand slam he’s been absolutely abysmal. He’s turned into an automatic out which sucks because he looked like such an awesome utility player. Just not bringing much value rn
