ITC Mughal- Agra Hotel Review

I have recently stayed with ITC Mughal in Agra for 2days in their Mughal Chambers(Tier2 Category after suites) & here is my feedback.

My Ratings

Property Type - 8/10,

Though It's a luxury property with huge lush lawns , beautiful poolside views, maintained greenery, landscapes, but truth must be told, it's an old one (50years built or so). Its constructional quality has started deteriorating , Not elderly friendly, too many steps to go around, minimum aesthetics.

Room Amenities & service - 6/10

The room was pretty basic, considering it was a superior room, the refrigerator was not working, we have to call reception multiple times for our requests & service was quite delayed .

Food & Restaurants - 7/10

Meals at restaurants were tasteful but overpriced, the buffet was the smallest ever seen in any hotel that I have stayed, very limited meal preparations.

Activities & Events- 5/10

They have indoor rooms for recreational activities which was improperly maintained tbh plus does not have AC working, it was quite suffocating tbh. Sub-standard event of puppet & magic show(15mins in total & 3rd class presentation). Outdoor courts for tennis/pickle ball were ok.

Did not try their in-house Spa & Gym but looks decent enough.

Accessibility & Location- 9/10

Very primarily located in Fatehabad Road, 10mins from Taj Mahal(hotel has an observatory too), Manny food joint near around, Metro connectivity, kinda well maintained area.

PS : Stayed in here in 2014, comparing to that it has lost some charm & has become more chaotic with sub-standard annimities..

Been stayed in other ITC hotels like Rajputana, Gardenia, Grand Bharath...this holds last in my list.

Also, I may try Trident Agra next time, since had lovely experience in Trident Udaipur & Mumbai.

Karigari restaurant honest review

I am delighted to see Meerut being put on the map with celebrated ventures like Karigari by Chef Harpal Singh, reflecting the city's growth and evolving lifestyle. However, modern infrastructure and renowned names mean little if professionalism is lacking. Here is my feedback...

Food : 8/10, some items taste good, some r okayish(soup felt like kaadha)..

Ambience : 9/10, Classic, aesthetic , retro feel

Service : 4/10, too many gaps in service, waiters were borderline rude, little attention to guest, miss in delivering order, chaotic etc..

Price: 7/10 : some items felt bit costlier than its worth..

Overall : 6/10 : It has great potential to become best in fine dine, people in mrt r seeking for great value for experience, but if the hospitality is compromised, it'll become just another place in the city...

Late night lyrical

The retros have the most meaningful, soulful, full of emotionally drive lyrics...Some of my favourite lines

" Ji hume manzoor hai aapka yeh faisala,

keh rahi hai harr nazar banda parvar shukariya..

Hans ke apni zindegi mai, kar liya shaamil mujhe,

Dil ki e dhadhkan theher ja, mil gayi manzil mujhe..

Aapki nazron ne samjha..."

I mean how beautiful one is feeling the gratitude that his/her love is being accepted by the lover..

Hi Folks,

Seeking advice here, I am M(30), under family pressure to get married (mother is highly concerned), tried my level best to make them understand things that I am not feeling to get settled right now..But I understand their concerns & do not want to hurt them in a big way...

Perhaps came to terms, if the girl prospect sees me as unlikable or disinterested & say no from their end😅, maybe makes it easy for me to delay things up....

So how to be respectfully become a red flag for girls?

Hi Folks,

Planning for Spiti Circuit in June, as excited I am for the trip, its more important to look out for right traveler group to book, for making the experience wholesome & fulfilling.

Trip communities which can offer mindful experience of the sites, hidden gems, local engagements, caters to small intellectual & spirited group, fun loving with a bit of comfort.

Please share personal experiences & recommendations..
