So I’m planning on attending and have already gotten my reservation tickets for the Criterion Cinema. Apparently it’s their first time ever doing this so does anyone have any guesses on what it could be? Kinda excited for this ngl.

So since I got my bunny I tried bonding with him, but he's seriously had no interest in me or my family. I've accepted that and will just let him do his own thing. He just turned 4 months old.

During this past week on a random day, he randomly started following me and my other family members around. Not only that, he's allowed us to pick him up and put him down (he doesn't try to squirm when near the ground ifykyk) and has overall just been near us constantly.

Honestly, I'm just a bit nervous of what this behaviour is coming from. Is he genuinely bonding with us? Does it mean something else? Not sure if maybe someone else has experienced this and could give us advice...

So, a while back, I created a Venmo account and immediately got suspended on the first day for no reason. Just yesterday, I downloaded it again since I needed to receive a payment from someone, and took the steps to "unsuspend" my account and later got the email that my info was verified and I could not fully use Venmo.

When I tried to add my bank acc/ debit card, I kept getting error messages such as "Something went wrong getting your bank account"- despite successfully linking my bank to Plaid.

I kept having this issue before verifying my account, so I thought it'd be resolved now, but I guess not. It's so frustrating, and not sure what to do anymore.

So I’m planning to study abroad next year in the Spring. I was matched with two different Universities due to my major/ minor. I got University of Bradford as one and University of Hull.

I was leaning to Bradford as it had a direct program for my major and minor (while Hull doesn’t really?) anyways, I started to read around and I just keep hearing bad things about Bradford. Some comments are about the University while most are about Bradford itself.

I keep hearing the whole “it’s the most dangerous city” or “it’s shitty and dead” and honestly it’s making me second guess my decision of going there and studying abroad at all.

I wanted to know if it really as bad or as dead as some people say…

I was looking at the jobs available on Handshake and I was wondering if anyone has ever taken a job On Campus, what it was, and how your experience was? I’m looking for jobs and leaning towards applying to the school ones, but not sure which ones seem worth it. I was also looking for the bookstore openings but haven’t seen any as of right now.

So I posted earlier on this subreddit about how my package got delivered to some random town in Minnesota instead of California, where I live. I called the USPS post office from that Minnesota town and they confirmed it was delivered there. The lady was nice enough and explained to me that a possible scam happened and that someone possibly bought/ stole my tracking number? I’ve never heard of this, but looking back, the tracking number for my USPS text updates started with 9400 etc. and suddenly switched to 4200…

Is this a real thing? Still in shock I just had a package, not sure you could say, stolen.

So I scheduled an appointment with my advisor earlier today via zoom. It was for 8am to 8:30. I joined 3 minutes early and stayed in there until 8:20 before deciding to leave. I doubled checked to make sure it was the correct link and it was, plus my advisor normally calls me if I’m over a minute late as a reminder, which I didn’t get.

I’m wondering if in any way this would affect me? I know the school has a 3-strike policy before you have to talk to a faculty member about why you missed 3 meetings and I’m wondering if this would be considered my third since I left despite her not showing up….(i wasn’t able to make it to my last meetings due to last minute work conflicts and family emergencies).
