I switched to using a detangling spray every morning when I brush and a wide tooth comb after advice from a kind friend who is helping me learn what I should’ve been taught as a kid about how to look after curly hair. However I was washing my hair last night and my hair was shedding like crazy, it still is today. Am I doing something wrong? Should I be using a normal brush and then the comb? She just told me I shouldn’t be brushing it dry but if I don’t brush in a morning then my hair looks like a rats nest and it wouldn’t do for work

was prescribed propranolol in January for anxiety, told to take it twice a day I think it’s 40mg. to be honest for me it hasn’t made any difference to my anxiety I don’t think, but I wasn’t told about avoiding any specific food or drink. They just asked if I’m a regular coffee drinker, I’m not, I do have the odd can of cola so they told me to just drink caffeine free. however I do like green tea and recently found out that it can affect propranolol. I also tried matcha the other day without knowing it contains a whole lot of caffeine and the health anxiety part of my brain is freaking out thinking I’ve cause myself heart damage. I kinda want to stop taking it but been told not to suddenly as that’s dangerous plus apparently most people don’t take it on a regular daily basis just as and when they need it? like I’ve been taking it twice daily at set times

I just recently got a switch 2, I’ll be mostly playing in handheld because there’s only one TV in our place and it’s in the main living room. I’ve heard that using a grip is a good way to make holding the switch more comfortable (only had a lite before so didn’t have this issue). Looking for some recommendations. I’m in the uk if that helps

I’ll be honest I’ve been considering it for a while but had to wait until budget allowed, got a bundle with Pokopia. Just wondering is it worth upgrading games I have for switch 1 to 2. I have pretty much all the pokemon games and animal crossing.

hey I’m just looking if anyone is in the same boat, I’m trying to take a bit better care of my hair now that I’m coming out of a hard time. but I still have a chronic illness so my energy is limited especially in the mornings and I’m autistic, finding that a lot of advice is either way too complicated/confusing or requires too many steps that my brain and body just can’t handle. I recently cut my hair to shoulder length to make it easier to manage. My family all have fine straight hair so my mum didn’t know what to do with my thick dark curls and just raked a paddle brush through then I was constantly told my hair was messy and made to keep it very short.

After watching the live show I decided to head out to the stage door of the theatre in order to meet my idols yet I was greeted by a giant metal gate and a whole crowd of other stalkers fans who had the nerve to not let me, the most important fan there, right up to the very front where my best friends in the cast would instantly recognise me and go against the wishes of the venue security to personally greet me and take selfies for me to post on social media. Don’t they know how much bragging rights they would have gotten me in the fandom?! How dare they not provide this unpaid extra to every single person who was blocking their exit back to their hotel. I was simply mortified.

I’m wanting to get back into the workforce now that my toddler is nearly 3 and I’m no longer the sole carer for my disabled sister. I was wanting to start part time and applied for a job at 14 hours a week. I’ve been offered the position but when working it out against what I currently receive in universal credit, I’ll actually be slightly worse off with what they deduct from my UC against my salary especially when adding on childcare, food and travel costs. I’ve also been informed I would have to still attend weekly job centre meetings because my hours are under a certain threshold. So is it worth accepting the job or should I be looking for one with more hours?

Interesting that this was always billed and heavily themed as Courtney’s show and now they’ve added a cohost, wonder why the decision was made. Interesting choice too as I’ve never really seen Chanse and Courtney as much of a duo. I wonder if they’ll be hosting it together or doing alternate shows.
