MY ASUS TUFF A15 IS OVERHEATING

What actually happening is once i play games ,(gow low graphics) its CPU TEMPS would go upto 95 then comes back to 87 82 °c then again after sometime go up 95 but once even spiked till 101°c .

I re-done the thermal paste even still no any improvement

Ok idle when watching utube video it goes 77 80°c

Even when playing light games its reaching 87°c

But they dont stay on 95 or 97 it comes down immediately lower 86 83 but then again increase such a cycle goes on ....

Other temps and all are in normal limit But when doing small task and all cpu temps are going higher than the value it should be

ASUS TUF A15 - capacitor blown after small spark during fan cleaning, only powers on with charger not battery. Need a second opinion.

Hey everyone, looking for a sanity check before I finalize a repair.

While cleaning the fan/heatsink area on my ASUS TUF A15, a metal tool briefly touched something and caused a small spark — no smell, no burn marks, no visible damage on the board.

After this, the laptop only powers on when connected to the charger. It won't turn on or run using just the battery.

The local repair shop inspected and told me a capacitor in the power/charging circuit might have failed.

What do u guys think is the issue ?

If it is capacitor Any anither component may be damaged ?

Help me out guys

Title: ASUS TUF A15 — capacitor blown after small spark during fan cleaning, only powers on with charger not battery.

The local repair shop just inspected and told me a capacitor in the power/charging circuit might be failed .

Questions:

Does "capacitor failure → charger works, battery doesn't" sound like an accurate diagnosis for this symptom?

Should I ask them to check anything else nearby, given there was a short circuit involved?

Any chance this points to a different/bigger issue (like the charging IC or BMS) instead of just the capacitor?

Appreciate any insight — trying to make sure I'm not missing something before picking it up.
