What happened to the computer science options?

The options for computer science are gone. I was hoping to do one of them, so this is really disappointing. Does this happen to do with the new course uvic added? I feel like uvic should’ve notified us about the options being removed and provided a more detailed explanation for students on what’s happening with computer science planning right now.

What’s that old show from 1st gen that did cruel pranks?

Does anyone remember that prank show from 1st gen that was literally insane? I remember they pranked an h.o.t (?) member into thinking they accidentally shot one of their members or smth. I can’t find any clips from the show either unfortunately, but I remember watching a clip on YouTube. Anyone remember the name?

How is a "magical girl" defined?

I'm familiar with general magical girls (ex. Sailor Moon, Precure, etc), but the other day I wondering if stuff like Tokimeki Tonight counts? This thought had me curious about how you would define magical girls? What exactly makes a magical girl? Does something like My-Hime count too?

Friendly reminder to raise your hand in class!

I'm honestly surprised that this is happening in university, but please raise your hand if you have a question or comment for the professor. It's annoying to have the lecture interrupted when the prof is in the middle of saying something.

What are some crossovers or AUs that you would love to see?

Are there any crossover or AU ideas that you think would be interesting to see? I feel like Team 7 plus Pakkun as the Scooby Gang (Scooby-Doo) would be fun lol. Or, idk how many of you are familiar with Totally Spies, but a concept like that could be cool too for team 7!

How useful did you find leetcode for CS interviews?

Is leetcode as big of a deal as people on Tiktok make it out to be? I've been doing some leetcode problems, but I'm just wondering if I should be spending more time on creating projects and less on these practice problems. Did you find that it was actually necessary for CS interviews or is that more of a thing for bigger companies? Thanks

I'm asking in regards to interviews for co-op!

I got into their music by coming across Yuri on X-Man! It had me wondering since I think Koyote or Roora was the most popular coed group (I could be wrong), but Cool also had some great success and album sales. About how popular were they?
