Už je to dobrých pár let, co jsem naposledy viděl světlušky. Ve večerech tohohle léta, a třeba i teď dnes večer je najednou opět vídám. Všimli jste si jich taky?

[advice required] I have a beef with a friend. He wants to upgrade his CPU cooling to liquid. He claims that it will boost his performance. I told him, that better cooling will prolong the lifespan of his CPU, but not the performance. Who is actually right? Him or me?
Hello. I decided to ask experts here because after a discussion with my friend I'm no longer 100 % sure of my own claim. AFAIK, the computing performance is determined by the inside physical ability of the processor. The more performance is it able / more voltage it takes, the more heat is generated. Higher heat slowly damages the processor. Better cooling system will prolong the lifespan of the hardware. I don't know how would the better cooling boost the performance of said CPU. So what can experts say about it?
