CONFUSED ABOUT MHCET COLLEGES! NEED HELP

Hello guys,

I’m from Rajasthan and I recently appeared for MH CET 5-year Law. I scored 98.80 percentile and I’m expecting to get Firodia Law College, Pune.

I wanted to ask current law students or people who have knowledge about this college to clear some doubts:

  1. How is the overall college experience — faculty, crowd, academics, campus life, etc.?

2)Being from outside Maharashtra, will I face any social issues, feel excluded, or experience any discrimination?

3)How is the internship culture and placement scene? Are students able to get good opportunities?

4)How welcoming is Pune as a city for outsiders? (especially students coming from other states)

5)If I get a chance, should I consider colleges like PGCL or Rizvi over Firodia?

I honestly don’t know much about Maharashtra law colleges apart from ILS and GLC, so I would really appreciate honest opinions, advice, or personal experiences.

Thank you 🙏🏽

PARUL LAW PEEPS! NEED ADVICE

PARUL LAW PEEPS! NEED ADVICE 🙏🏽

I’m considering joining Parul University for the BA LLB (Hons.) program and would love to hear from current students or recent graduates.

Could you please share your honest opinions regarding:

Academics and faculty quality

Student crowd and peer group

Moot courts, debates, research opportunities, and internships

Placement opportunities for law students

Attendance rules and academic pressure

Campus life, hostel life, and overall university culture

Any major pros and cons that a newcomer should know
Most information available online seems promotional, so I’m looking for genuine student experiences. Would you recommend Parul University for law, and why or why not?

Help! Need advice🙏🏽

Hi everyone,
I’m very confused and would really appreciate some advice from people who have gone through a similar situation.

I’m currently pursuing BA LLB at a college affiliated with Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur. My 2nd semester has just started. I’m planning to leave this college and join Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) from the 1st year.

The admissions team at MUJ told me that online marksheets should work for now, but they will eventually require my original Transfer Certificate (TC) and Character Certificate, both of which are currently submitted to my present college.

I’m worried that my current college may create issues when I ask for my documents back.
My questions are:
1)I have already paid the 2nd semester fees. Can the college demand fees for future semesters or the next academic year before returning my documents?

2)How much time does it generally take to get original documents (TC, Character Certificate, etc.) back after applying for withdrawal?
Can a college legally withhold my original documents?

3)Do I need to tell MUJ that I was already studying in another college and am dropping out? Do I need an NOC or any other formalities? Or can I simply take admission as a fresh student since I’ll be starting from 1st year again?

4)I have misplaced my original Class 12 marksheet. The CBSE
DADS portal is not opening for me. Can I get duplicate marksheets through some other process? Are DigiLocker marksheets generally accepted for admissions until I obtain the duplicate?

If anyone has gone through a similar college withdrawal/admission process, especially in Rajasthan or with MUJ, please share your experience.

THANK YOU

LAW COLLEGE IN JAIPUR

Hey everyone, I wanted some opinions about UFYLC BA LLB (University Five Year Law College, Rajasthan University).

How are the academics, faculty, crowd, attendance rules, and overall env

I couldn’t clear CLAT this year, and most good private law colleges are way too expensive for me, so I’m considering RU/UFYLC as an option.

Also, if any law students from Rajasthan University or other law colleges in Jaipur are here, please give me some advice regarding:

Would really appreciate honest guidance from seniors. Thanks :)

Hey everyone,

I’m traveling to Mumbai for the first time for an exam, and my center is Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (Gate No. 6, Kandivali East / Thakur Village).

I’ll be reaching Borivali station around 5 AM, and my return train is at 10 PM the same night.

I had a few doubts:
\- Should I book a stay in advance, or will I easily find something after reaching early morning?
\- My budget is around ₹1000–1500 (just need something basic to freshen up + keep luggage).
\- Any suggestions for budget hotels, dorms, or hourly stays nearby?
\- Also, is Thakur Village / Kandivali East a safe area, especially for someone new?

Would really appreciate any tips (stay, travel, safety, anything helpful). Thanks!
