Adding phosphorus to soil without bonemeal?

After a couple of underwhelming years on my veggie patch, I've had my soil tested and found that it's very deficient in phosphorus. A quick Google tells me that blood/bonemeal is an easy way to remedy this. However, I already tried this a couple of years ago and unfortunately my neighbour's cat found it absolutely DELICIOUS, to the extent that she was literally eating the soil and even covering everything in chicken wire couldn't stop her.

So, any alternatives that do the same job but a) are still safe to put on soil where edible plants grow and b) won't encourage cats to make a mess?

How can I make shoes fit better if I'm in between sizes?

I am cursed with 25.6cm feet which for many brands puts me firmly between size 40 and 41. For lace-up shoes, size 41 is usually fine, but I'm really struggling to find some suitable ballerinas, sandals and loafers.

Size 40 is often too small but size 41 has them dangling off my feet. Several pairs of Be Lenka flats and El Naturalista sandals all got returned recently as I just couldn't get the right fit. Likewise, I just got a pair of these beautiful flats from Edeo (Polish brand) and am having the same issues. My big toes are almost touching the ends in size 40 (even if I switch out the insole for a thinner one), but size 41 was massive and I could even fit a whole finger down the back at my heel. They already come with a pretty thick leather insole so I don't think there's any other insole I could add that would make size 41 comfortable.

Any ideas?

Where can I work with a laptop at 8am on a Monday?

My neighbours just let me know that they're gonna be doing some heavy building work, starting early tomorrow (Monday). I work from home and am not seeing many options for where I could go at around 8am tomorrow - I don't have family in the area, the library only opens at 10am and many places are closed on Mondays anyway.

Any ideas??

What is the etiquette on asking an artist to work on a tattoo done by another artist?

I had a tattoo done last year. I already had 2 tattoos on my leg and asked the artist to freehand a design to fit the space around it. Overall I'm satisfied with the tattoo but I have never really loved it. There are a lot of black lines and it lacks some depth or shading. I feel like I would like it a lot better if it had a bit more detail and shading in certain parts.

The only thing is, I didn't click with the artist, to say the least. The communication wasn't great (when he started free handing the design in market, he wanted to go super big and I had to ask multiple times to go smaller, despite making my desired sizing clear in my very first message to him). Also, he is diabetic and his blood sugar dropped during the session. Instead of being honest about it he just pushed through, leading to some imperfections. I have several tattoos and this was my most negative experience. Basically I don't feel comfortable to go back to him and would much rather go elsewhere.

I would not be asking for any significant changes, just adding some minor shading and detail to a 10cm tattoo. I know some artists always say a hard no to touching someone else's work. Do I have any kind of chance of finding one who will do it, or is this a long shot?

If you had 25.6cm long feet, would you go for size 40 or 41 in these El Naturalista sandals?

There being no physical stores nearby where I can try on barefoot shoes is the hardest part about this lifestyle!

Hit me with your best Museumkaart recommendations

I have two months left on my Museumkaart. I've been to most of the big/famous museums. I'm looking for hidden gems and museums the average person might not have heard of.

I live in Eindhoven but am happy to travel!

Help with Be Lenka sizing

I have my eyes on two Be Lenka ballerinas - the Florence and the Bellissima 3.0. My feet are 25.6cm and narrow. I have a pair of Barebarics sneakers in size 41. I thought Barebarics and Be Lenka would have the same sizing due to being basically the same company, but according to the size chart for the ballerinas, a 40 would be best.

However when I print the size chart from the website that you can stand on, the measurements are different and a size 40 looks like it would be way too small.

Anyone have experience with Be Lenka and their sizing?

I love these Mira T-bar shoes by Lang.S but for some reason I really struggle to find barefoot shoes in regular dark brown leather - they are almost always suede.

Anyone know of any shoes similar to these but in smooth leather? Things I look for: • preferably a higher stack height • removable insoles • EU based

I have narrow feet, 25.6cm long and usually take an EU size 40 or 41!

I'm heading to Krakow for the first time next month - super excited! A friend who has been there a couple of times before told me to book museums/attractions in advance as many of them can get full. Is that true? I love wandering around cities and a trip is always nicer when you don't need to over plan.

The museums I wanted to visit are:

- Schindler

- Banksy

- Eagle Pharmacy

Tbh I am less interested in the castles and salt mines.

Thanks for any tips!
