Finished dorn proxy + company

Model is makercult medium tank
.08 extra fine bbl a1 fdm
Was a real joy to paint
Ive been fdm printing tanks for the past month, above are the over all results, with the dorn proxy I feel like I am fully happy with the livery I went with. If I were to change anything I would re do the markings for the chimera’s sides and make the turrets on the hippos match the other two tanks but over all I think this was a great learning experience. I made all the transfers in gimp which I think really helps theme the models.
C&C welcome

Sister with simulacrum finished

Been on my bench a minute, finally got around to finishing the highlights and details, painting the actual simulacrum took me forever and I was terrified to mess up the little rings but I’m happy enough with how it turned out.

C&C welcome

Finished Chimera proxy

Model: Universal Guard transport tank makers cult

Printer: Bambu labs a1 mini 4m noz

Settings: .08mm extra fine @BBL A1

Been playing around with fdm printing vehicles because I saw other people were getting really good results.

This is where I’m at there’s some things I’d change in terms of my painting as I move forward. This was the first time I used dry pigments and I made a big mistake but was able to salvage the model with iso and a cotton swab.

Transfers were made in gimp.

Tally ho!!

C&C welcome

This is a follow up from my post a few days ago

I want to say a special thank you to the brother who shared the link to the resources page

I went ahead and got transfer paper printed out the decals and based the model with Vallejo diorama fx and painted it to match the city mat I use in my home setup

Thank you all you inspired me to paint more of these guys I’m getting back into 40k and painting this model even though I despise Reivers brought me a lot of joy.

C&C welcome

I bought a pot of Vallejo diorama fx to base some of the models I’ve been painting, first time using the product. In the past I’ve used sand, baking soda, citadel and generic texture paints and I have to say I’m kind of blown away. I’ve heard it compared to commercial acrylic grout and I can see that. It goes on as a paste and dries in a little over a hour the grey pumice one I bought had to be painted but after I painted and dry brushed I’m really happy with the results. I wanted to do urban grey to match the city mat I have set up for home games

Paints I used were abandon black by citadel and dead white from Vallejo’s game air line

Models are a old primaris reaver from a gw start collecting kit

Guard are kitbashed from Victoria miniatures maker cult and station forge stls printed on a eleggo Jupiter se

C&C welcome if I were to do anything different I would have made the bases and painted them separate and pinned the models but I was lazy.
