Design Review - Print to PDF with markup transparency?

Is it possible to print to a pdf and keep markup transparency? So far I'm not seeing any options for that, and when I print to pdf the markups are a solid color.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, thank you.

EDIT: UPDATE, I may have found the solution. In Autodesk Design Review I was clicking the printer button (or CRTL+P) to print, my printer selected to Adobe PDF and that was causing the solid markups vs transparent markups after saving the new pdf. Changed my printer to Microsoft Print to PDF, and I was able to preserve transparent markups in the newly saved PDF file. Silly issue, simple solution. I was using the transparent markups for quick area calcs, and wanted to save those areas in a PDF file.

5th gen front rotors keep warping or corroding, best rotors to buy?

I have a 2013 SR5, Ive owned the truck since 2015, and this thing goes through front rotors more than any other vehicle I own or have owned. I’ve tried OEM rotors and pads, I’ve tried parts store brands, basically the same results. The rotors warp or corrode enough along the outside edges causing very strong pulsing or steering wheel vibration.

Looking for better rotor and pad combo recommendations to could try if anyone has some ideas?

Thank you.

Tiny bug, Massachusetts, US

been dealing with carpet beetles in a piece of furniture, I think I took care of those with various treatments and over 4 months of isolating the piece of furniture. Doing a final sticky trap test, and found a few of these guys stuck. Any idea what they are? Want to make sure they’re nothing crazy before bringing the furniture back in the house. Thank you.

Tile over bad marble shower floor?

So there's a few things we don't like about our shower, the first being the marble tile floor, we didn't do enough research so our fault there, but the other problem was a mistake on the contractors side during install. Contractor left a huge gap on the left side of the shower between the tile floor and the tile wall, it's almost a 1/2" caulk grout line...contractor didn't catch or pay attention to an unlevel subfloor during shower pan install or tile floor install. A Wedi system was used.

A few options we are considering to improve the situation, the first being to add Schluter ECK-KHK profile around the bottom of the shower to cover the floor to wall caulking gap, and the other option is to tile over the marble in the shower. If we went the retile route, I believe I could thread out the Fundo Primo height adjuster (cut the corners of the plastic first to get it to rotate) and install a new one to make up the new tile height difference and be all set on that end. Redguard or similar product over the marble for a water proof barrier...

Any thoughts, opinions, concerns, recommendations? Thank you.

Ordered 4D arm rests, received standard armrests...

I ordered an EC200 chair from Amazon a few weeks ago and was underwhelmed with the standard armrests that come with the EC200. I learned ProtoArc make 4D arm rests so I placed an order directly from the ProtoArc site for the 4D armrests. Upon delivery I opened the box, and they sent me standard arm rests.....

Has anyone dealt with ProtoArc's customer support before? I sent them an email, and I'm waiting to hear back. I should have ordered via Amazon for a simpler return / exchange process.

Non slip, non staining furniture pads?

New refinished white oak hard wood floors (water based) and looking for a non slip, hardwood safe pad for couches and chairs. Currently have felt pads on all the furniture to protect the floors from scratches or staining, but would like pads that prevent slipping.

Any recommendations? I’ve seen felt / natural rubber blended carpet pads that claim to be hard wood safe, but haven’t found anything similar for furniture pads.

thanks

Sonos Hue Light voice control issue?

I have an Era 100 and a Hue bridge. Sonos and Hue voice control is linked, both apps confirm. The issue is Sonos voice control not recognizing the light room commands. If I say “hey Sonos, turn on Cabinet lights”, Sonos says it can’t find the lights and that both light names have to match in the apps.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I can’t find where the light names would be in the Sonos app to make sure they match up. Any info or tips on what I’m doing?

S340 replacement solar panel options?

So it seems the solar panel on my S340 camera has failed, it’s no longer keeping up with charging duty. Curious which panel people are using to replace the original panel with. I’ve also seen people posting that after market panels cause a “fully charged” notification loop, hoping to avoid that nuisance if possible.

thank you

Recommended island top spacing?

The main concern we’ve been discussing is the counter top to counter top distance between the island and sink counter at 38.5”.

And the island counter top distance from the wall, there will be seating for the island at 38”, 10” over hang.

It’s understood 42” is the desired minimum top to top distance, but wasn’t sure what could be considered acceptable with the island top to wall distance for seating. At 38” it felt like there’s room to walk past someone thats seated at the island. if I could cheat that down to 36 or 37” and increase the 38.5” to 40” between the sink and island that would probably be best.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you.
