I’m flying one way to Australia as a British passenger and concerned the airline won’t let me fly without a return ticket, anyone had this experience?

Australian immigration allows it but some airlines may not let you fly on a one way ticket. Has anyone else done this before? I know you cannot enter Vietnam with a one way ticket but not sure how it is to leave? Specifically with Vietjet

Visiting on a 601 ETA visa from Britain. No return ticket. Will stay 10 days before deciding whether to go home or back to Europe. Immigration states that a return is not necessary as long as you can prove you will leave, but have heard airlines can/ will deny boarding with no outbound?

Any more specific info on this?

*TRIGGER WARNING S/H*

Like clockwork a few days before a flare up I get extremely low and have serious thoughts of suicide. It frightens me how serious the thoughts/ urge is.
I’m in a hotel right now and I genuinely considered throwing myself off the balcony. Then when I get my period the feeling goes away immediately. Awful. I would love for someone to share any similar experiences or words of encouragement so I don’t feel alone.

Would consider not visiting Dalat

Of everywhere I have been in Vietnam, dalat had the rudest people. It’s where many Vietnamese people holiday so like other nationalities on holiday, people are on thier rudest worst behaviour here. Shoving you in the street, getting right in your personal space, shoving you out of the way, and acting like you don’t exist there. The worst though was just out right prejudice. Servers and staff would ignore me/ serve viet customers first. Every other place people have been great but dalat has shocked me.

How to make friends with women either VN or other travellers? :)

Travel alone and like it. Have made friends randomly at airport/ hostel before and enjoy that too. See apps for meeting up with other travellers, can anyone recommend this method?

Any idea what this white spotty stuff is on this metal? Looks like mould, doesn’t wash off, put ketchup on it to clean it, scrubbed with a toothbrush but it’s still there

I’m flying to VN immediately on an emergency visit, what am I forgetting?

Never visited before, flying from Scotland so will go to my doctor to get necessary jabs, apply for visa, book flights. As for accommodation I’m hoping to find some on the fly. As for travelling around I now there’s an app to rent a scooter driver so I will do that. Am I forgetting anything else? Any advice welcome as I am quite distracted by the family news.

Has anyone watched The Testaments? Does it contain “forced” scenes?

Read handmaids tale, never watched the show bc I don’t need to see all that and the book is poignant enough. Never read the testaments but am interested in the show, if it doesn’t include the forced rituals.

Is there a way to find an exact pen refill (for an autistic youth) ?

I’ve googled the measurements and bought replacements but he can tell when writing that it’s not the same ink cartridge! Emailed the manufacturers and no luck!
I realise chances are slim but if such a thing as a pen refill enthusiast exists it would be here

Putting the picture through search, and trawling google only comes up with other Kiosk models but never this one. One of the sides has “TELEPHONE” in yellow letters under the phone symbol
