I have a Sanyo MGR59 in pink that I absolutely love. It could probably use some TCL in the way of cleaning. Also recently I heard it squeaking (uncertain if it was the cassette itself or the deck). Recently I’ve started hearing the noises that are (I believe) a result of loose screws or dirty headphone jack/insert thing. I have found a YouTube video that is 20 minutes and seems to take you through cleaning and fixing it up. I’m just not sure if it’s better or not to find someone local who has experience over attempting myself (I have 0 experience, just good a following directions). The last thing I want is to have this player become unusable. I appreciate any and all recommendations (include if there is an expert on Reddit people prefer to go to).
My husband and I have been caring for our Old Man cactus for about 5 years now back when he was a young Old Man (lol). He has rewarded us with many new growths over the years (originally was just those 2 large ones but much smaller!). We really don’t want to have to rehome him but our new porch doesn’t get full sun (it barely gets a sliver of sun 😢). We do have a grow light (purchased for an indoor plant we ended up not getting) and I’m pretty sure the light itself was recommended by a different Reddit sub.
I’ve been googling but have struggled to find a solid answer on caring for an Old Man cactus with a grow light. Any advice? Do I put the lamp on the highest setting? For how long should the light be on? How high above the cactus does it need to be? Anything I missed as far as questions I should be asking/getting answered? I’ll share the grow light in comments. If that’s not a good one and you have a recommend one, please share!!
Hello! I’ve been living in the greater Phoenix area for about 5 years. Over the last 3 months various fabrics are discolored (kind of orangey). I had this happen to multiple sweatshirts and recently a face towel. Using the towel as the example, all I did was dry my hands to checking water temperature in the bath and woke up this morning to the color change (light green towel now has orange-yellow stain). What is going on? How can I prevent it (if I can)?
Edit: solved! I use Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel on my face at night. Not sure how I managed to not have an issue until 3 months ago as this is something I’ve been using for many, many years. Thank you everyone!
