funnily enough, i actually discovered this album through an incorrect answer on this subreddit. i only ever listened to it one time but i really enjoyed it, cannot find any trace of it in search history/recently played etc and ive looked through most posts fitting my criteria in hopes of finding it again but alas. anyway

cannot remember the name or any song titles, just the vibe and i’ve got a vague memory of the album cover

its like sepia tones maybe even black and white, definitely drawn cartoon style and not an actual picture. girl standing in the foreground to the left a little bit with dark colored short hair (maybe bangs?) wearing a dress. the whole cover is like kinda fran bow style if anybody is familiar with that? this is really all the info i have, i think it was female fronted band but im not sure. the songs were definitely in english im sure of that!

looking for the best place in the area to buy older games/game consoles like 2000’s to 2010’s? n64, ps3, ps2, wii/gamecube, etc

i’ve seen a couple good like “shelves” or whatever in collectamania posted on FB marketplace but wondering if it’s really worth my time to go there.

I (19F) talked to a close coworker friend, John (19M), about going to the local park in the area, but we eventually decided it was too overpriced for what it was. I just got a new car not long ago so i offered my vehicle to drive about 2.5 hrs away to a better park. since we were making the long drive, we were planning on staying from open to close, meaning we would be getting home around midnight.

while we were discussing the idea of the local park, another one of our coworkers, Carl (24M), joined in saying he’d be down to go, and we said we would let him know what we figured out as he clocked out before us. Carls boyfriend, Andy (21M), also works here and was clocked in to close with John and I, so we invited him as well and were relying on him to transmit the information about the trip to Carl that we were discussing at work.

about two days before we were supposed to leave, Andy texted the group chat for the plans asking if we could leave earlier because Carl had a class to be at early and he wasn’t aware that we would be staying out so late. John and specifically stated we wanted to stay all day when making the plans, we told them no, it was not possible. if they did not want to stay all day because they needed to be somewhere, then don’t come. they had not purchased tickets yet, so they would have been perfectly fine to stay home if they needed to. Andy texted back and said that was fine, he would just be tired.

fast forward to at the park, we drove all morning to get there, park opens at 11am and we are there for the gates. at around noon, after riding 2 rides together, Andy and Carl decided to split off and find something to eat, with the plan to regroup directly after. John and I rode 4 rides together before realizing they hadn’t texted and hadn’t returned, so we looked at their snap location and saw they were in the water park portion.

at around 2, we still hadn’t seen them so i texted to see what was up. Carl called me and told me he wanted to go home, as he had an early class tomorrow. John and I told them no, again, they should have known we were going to stay all day as we had stated so multiple times, and we were both already about $200 dollars into this trip. He bitched me out basically saying he didn’t know we were going to be leaving so late and Andy just told him. i said if you want to waste your money and go sit in the car you can come get my keys from me and he did just that.

John and I got back to the car at the end of the day and were met with a complete silent treatment by Carl and very little action from Andy.

John took the first driving shift back home with no problems and after an hourish it was time for me to drive. i am a relatively new driver which means i am safe, not stupid in the car. I got on the interstate and it was dark and wet, so i was going about 65 instead of the posted maximum of 70. Carl did not like this at all, i’m guessing because he wanted to get home sooner. finally he was yelling at me from the back seat and pressured me to get over into the left lane, pushing 85mph. at one point i safely slowed down because there was a literal wall of cars i couldn’t get around and he started screaming telling me to get off at the nearest exit because he felt his life was in serious danger. i let him kick me out of my own drivers seat and go the rest of the way back home, he kept bragging about how he was a much better driver and i shouldn’t have been driving in the first place. then he proceeded to get us lost 3 times and i had to tell him where to go, but that’s neither here nor there. Andy and John both later told me i was driving perfectly fine, and they preferred me in the seat as opposed to him.

Carl hasn’t talked to me in about 3 months since this happened. Andy says he wants an apology, but i don’t feel like i have anything to apologize for?

so, AITA for wanting to stay the full day as planned?

Edit: since many of you are confused, the topic at hand is if i’m an asshole for wanting to stay at the park, not for what i choose to do with my own property that i bought and pay for.
