Best VGA to Component converter for 240p/480i?

Looking for something reasonably priced that will output my pcs 15khz VGA RGB signal as 240p and 480i component for my consumer crt. For most of the transcodes I have looked at, it is unclear whether they support 240p or not. They all seem to do 480i but I want both outputs as options. I do not need any sort of converters as my pc natively outputs those signals properly, just a simple transcoder. Does anyone have any suggestions on a device to use, something you have experience with or have heard good things about?

Good downscalers for 1080i?

I bought a little HDMI to component converter with 1080i support and it just kills all black levels it kind of sucks. I’m looking for something that doesn’t do that and won’t break the bank. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ve been looking on mostly Amazon and then a bit on eBay for old professional equipment such as extron stuff and such.

Been looking into plasmas recently and this 60” Samsung popped up in my marketplace for $60. Good deal or no?

77” Sony OLED a80L for $150 but it only displays a screen while horizontal. Able to be fixed and worth the money?

I’ve been wanting to get an OLED for my gaming setup recently but just haven’t bitten on any deals. This pops up on my marketplace for $150 though and I figure if it’s easily fixable it’s a great deal. I like to work on electronics but have never worked on an OLED tv as I haven’t had one. So is this worth it and possibly an easy fix?

This is the CRT in a 1999 Ford E-150 Conversion Van. Anyone know what model and brand it is?

Why is choosing a new headset the worst?

My Turtle Beach Stealth 600x gen 3s basically just told me it’s time to start looking for a new headset as the microphone stopped muting. Now I don’t I don’t mind having to replace old gear but I do have a problem with how modern headsets are designed and having to choose a new one. I’ve always been a turtle beach buyer which stinks because they seem to have a consistent 2-3 year life with me but they always end up feeling the best to me. The best headset I’ve ever owned were my Turtle Beach Stealth 420Xs that I had a decade ago but unfortunately they don’t make those anymore and I’m not sure buying a decade old used headset is the best purchase to make. I still haven’t found a headset I’ve liked nearly as much as them, not from turtle beach, not from anyone else. I have been searching and their are none that I can find that aren’t either really expensive or don’t have the greatest reviews. And something that I’ll have to get over which I absolutely hate is that all new headsets have a mixer for game and chat volume rather than seperate volume wheels for both of them, that’s the worst part. So anyways does anyone have any suggestions on wireless headsets and have any they woild recommend?

Sound solutions for DVI port on Sony KV-30HS510

Have an Xbox Series S I want to use mostly for streaming but can’t find a good way to get sound out of it. Right now I have a second controller wired to the Xbox with a 3.5mm audio jack to rca converter going from the controller to the tv. Looking for better options and solutions.

Looking for more options on this broken Sony MHC-1200 Hi-Fi system

I still can’t get it to power on, the standby light comes on but it just still won’t turn on. Is it worth it to try and fix it or should I throw it out? I got it for free and I’m not sure what I should do with it now that I can’t get it working.

My newest and hopefully last pickup, a Sony KV-30HS510. Super excited about it!

Have been wanting a widescreen mostly for dvds and such but figured I’d try some games on it too. It’s nearly perfect condition but I did have to pay $175 for it. It was local though and I have been using it so I am going to say it is worth it.

Sony MHC-1200 showing power but will not actually turn on.

Showing it gets power when it is plugged in but won’t actually turn on an do anything. I cracked it open and the main fuse is fine and none of the capacitors on the power supply are blown either. Any other things it could be?

Put it in reverse the other day and it made a pop noise and then it was super hard to reverse, had to floor it to move it. Drive was the same way, had to floor it to move but once it got rolling it felt mostly fine. So it’s really hard to get going and feels like it’s grinding/braking when moving. Also slows down a lot faster when not accelerating/in neutral. The brakes are fine but I’m not sure about the e brake and the bleeder valve on the differential is cracked. Without looking at it, a mechanic friend thinks it’s the differential because of the cracked valve but he’s not sure. Any other ideas?
