1. Do long standing hosts still get extra features for free?

2. If not, I'm willing to pay. Is it still possible to find someone to host?

I live in a country where the alternatives are not known. I just want to find someone to host. Honestly I didn't give it a fair try, I gave up after ten minutes of being confused. I did update my profile.

Airbnb 2025 revenue was $12.24 billion and net income was $2.51 billion.

So spending 10% more to increase support quality would be only about 6% of its 2025 net income.

Personally I don't think support quality is good enough for such an important service. For this reason, I don't trust that disputes will be handled fairly. For this reason, if I find a good host, I'd rather make a deal off Airbnb for a month. I stayed with 30 hosts this year, but I don't feel that the company is doing the most important job of mediation very well. Management seem to look at support as an annoying cost to be cut, rather than a chance to build customer loyalty.

As a Customer: Just curious about your personal experience, not hearsay.

Prefer not under a loud flight path, so I can have the window open. Any city. 😊

Avica. New. Tower 1 open, 2 still under construction. (dislike walking through underground parking to reach reception, strong perfume in lobby & lift, quiet when construction stops at night). I did not see a roof deck. Loud box AC.

Mesatierra. Coming from perfume city the huge open air lobby was great. Pool looks beautiful. But the units are expensive for the small size and age. Guards are more assertive because there's no elevator key, anyone can use it. Not such a friendly vibe but looks nice.

Best roof garden, 10th floor. Mostly loud box AC.

Inspiria (almost on top of abreeza mall).

The best staff!! Good energy spills over and lots of foreigners and some Filipinos live there. A friendly greeting always makes my day. My unit was noisy due to traffic. Would return if I find a quieter unit. Pool area is run down but usable. Short term guests must ask guard to activate 9th floor button in the lift. Split AC.

Ivory Residences.

Best units by far. Biggest. Road side units (odd numbers) and quiet side (even numbers). No roof deck yet, no pool, tiny lobby, guards don't want to talk/ can't speak English. But nicest units with split AC.

Verdon Parc: Belvedere building. Internal construction still ongoing was loud and dusty but okay with the doors closed and music on. I waited a full 5 minutes for the lift once. I like to go in and out so a ten minute trip just to get food is a deal breaker. Other buildings might be better? Nice staff, a bit slow to process entry form updates. Stunning outdoor pool and clubhouse.

I traveled around Davao city last month. Wow. It's different to what I remember many years ago. I think Davao needs a prize "most improved city"?

Which app has more active drivers with motorbikes? Move it or Maxim in Davao city?
